Purchased a tuned HW 97K .177 off one of the lads from this forum Simon, Piano Man and she arrived late this afternoon. Great lad to deal with fellas Here`s the parcel lads, I duly unwrapped the contents, got my mate round with his skip wagon, ( builders skip) and filled it with fecking bubble wrap . Joking apart Simon, you did a cracking job of protecting this parcel`s contents. Right, - put the action and stock back together, took an " instant liking" to the Hawke Endurance scope and Sp6 points

Putting a first cross over a three quarter also gives you a 3/8 5/8 cross. Some people like them and it's probably a better way to breed them as both parents will have been more tested in theory.4 points

Was given this old photo of my father and some mates, by my mother as a keep sake. Thinking maybe early 70's. I know this topic has been shared here before, but couldn't find any threads on it. Anyway, anyone else got any old photo's you'd like to share?3 points

Well as ive been ferreting for the last few years, I havent even touched the air rifle or shotgun. After having a nose about on this forum and reading about nv builds, I thought I must dust off the old s200 that hasnt seen any use in 10 years. Within a few days, I ordered a camera, screen, batteries, cables, flowplast fittings, torch and a range finder. Within a couple of days, everything was built. I found my trusty simmons whitetail classic, and adjusted the parallax to suit air rifle ranges. It was soon set up, and having a walk about a local permission I ferret just to learn whats going on3 points

Look, this is really simple....if they have taken the time to let the world know they are a “vegetarian” then they are a head case! You will spend the rest of the time being bored shitless about how they can’t put their sandwiches in the same fridge as everyone else or drink soup blah blah blah f**k em off and get someone who you can send down for a bacon sandwich !3 points

This thread proves that not everyone who sells lurcher pups lies about the breeding. It's just that they haven't a f****n' clue. Katchum is correct.3 points

You have her safe and sound. Marvelous! I pack all my parcels very securely. I don't trust the care of some postal depot workers! And we have acres of bubblewrap in my business anyway! I told you she was a genuine beauty Mark. Now you see why I sadly had to let her go to a good home. Too bloody good to keep left behind in the cabinet..... ....So you can imagine how incredibly smooth and accurate my Pro Sport .22 has to be, if this sweetie was left behind for it. Tim/charlie caller has made a masterpiece of my Pro Sport when he tuned it with a Tinbum kit for me. The tiny bit3 points

Glad you got it sorted Lee ..... I use nothing but JSB Heavies in my 100, they're an excellent pellet. As Phil says, Bisley Magnum (and Weihrauch magnum) are also worth a look - I found them to give good accuracy and, they penetrate really well.2 points

I spoke to a guy with a Wildcat .25 fac Ian and whilst he really liked the gun, he found it rather twitchy with 47fpe up the spout whereas the Impact has that little bit of extra weight. Get that fac sent off for Jimmy, I don't know why you didn't have a chat with the boys in blue at the show a couple of weeks ago. Remember what I said, ONLY APPLY FOR THE .25 PLUS MOD IN FAC AIR.............................NOTHING ELSE. Good luck me ole duks. Phil2 points

That was my thoughts exactly. ........ The rest of the CV was pretty good but, I disregarded it after getting to that to bit. I have a fairly small team here and, they're ok with me having a bagged rifle in the office if I've been out early or, if I plan to go straight from work. They've come to like it when I bring in things for them to try. An animal rights, veggie nutter would do my head if they started banging on.2 points

I will say this much Mitch, Tim has a touch like a midwife mate, you would not regret having him do the work, I promise you. If you then decide to drive up to Sheffield and take the gun there, I will pop over to meet up. Tim makes a nice cuppa. Phil2 points

Nice going and very nice scenery to shoot in. I also have the 1417 but with a sporting stock although I far prefer a thumbhole any day. Phil2 points
