  8. Hi everyone, I just wanted to say a big thanks to Nick8310 for taking me rabbit shooting and passing on some knowledge. If anyone has a permission and is looking for an experienced shooting buddy with a rimfire or shotgun in Essex, Nick is a really nice guy to go shooting with.

  11. I had 4 deer in the chiller from previous outing and with no time to process them myself or a dealer local to me was invited up to Tim to use his one. Dropping them off in his larder facility we had a quick look out at a local place where we’d seen a biggun the season before to see if he was still about and maybe look for a cull buck. Chats with the farmer took longer than expected but it worked out well as by the time we got to the most likely spot the deer had lost their early evening inhibitions and were well out in the field, 3 cull bucks and one doe. They were around 150m away

  12. About 11 years ago I was taken to court, two blokes climbed over my gate, 6 foot high metal,, that was padlocked, had a sign on it saying beware of the dogs. luckily, only one dog was out at the time, but she nailed one of them pretty good, anyways, long story short came home to a police notice on the gate, contacted them, invited for an interview which I duly done, was threatened with charges for keeping a dangerous dog unless I had it destroyed in which case it would all go away, I point blank refused. Had numerous council officers round, dog warden etc etc, it was all agreed the d

  13. Preferable to the alternative though Nathan. If if it’s a cheap scope you’re after, a fixed mag should stand up to recoil better than a zoom. Less parts to shake loose. Just my opinion, but what do I know? Fcuk all probably,lol...?

  18. Here`s the difference lads, is it worth it ? First photo is my recently bought, untouched Pro Sport, shot cold from the bag, going for two groups of 10 head shots and 10 heart/ lung. To take this in lads, place a 5p coin in front of you then check the pictures out please. Then exactly the same again, same cal, same pellet, same scope but a tuned T Rex. All 40 shots would have despatched wood pigeons but would tuning the pro sport be worth it ? atb Mark

  20. There is a cracking bloke down the pub who was always so cheerful & a generally polite happy go lucky sort, he lost 8 stone & he does look good, took up running & now he has become a self obsessed attention seeking insecure twat who bores the arse off everyone with his f***ing lack of self confidence ... now figure that one out & they say women are complex?

  31. Took the TX out for an hour this morning,- just too hot. A Blue Tit nest was destroyed in the farm yard and no sign of life whatsoever, anywhere. So I sat back in the barn shade and waited and waited and waited, when a certain nest robber paid another visit. For once, unsupported and at 34 yards, a bandit sat on top of the bird box checking it had done it`s dirty deed to the full. I obliged with a 7.87 g JSB Exact Express to the engine

  35. Mine comes ferreting, and does a bit of bushing, but it’s nothing like a dedicated dog for the job, he’s also very hard mouthed so you wouldn’t be doing much with anything he catches. Its not really the physical stuff they crave, it’s more mental stimulation, the easiest way to wear him out is take him for a drive, window down, 50mph, he goes into mental overdrive checking everything going past, an hour like that and he sleeps like a baby for the next 3hrs ! I do physical stuff with mine as I want him strong and fit, his primary role is guarding the place, no one gets in unannounced

  37. I walk every where and enjoy it. See c**ts jumping in cars to literally drive round the corner to the shop Whenever I put on a few extra pounds normally winter time. Just cut down on the sweets. Never change my diet I just stick to 3meals a day regardless if it's pie beans or chips or sausage mince or stew just stick to the 3meals and do a bit exercise you will lose weight. No need to run miles or become a gym bunny. Unless of course you want that Adonis body that seems to be the latest trend. Mostly by the gay fraternity lol

  41. I can accept this to a point but we're straddling the line of homegrown vs imported. If you move from an area that doesn't have running water, even for £3 a month, moving to somewhere that does is a huge step up. Immigrants generally move to improve their standards, wouldn't you agree? Their step up, in some cases, is somewhere we wouldn't house our old copies of CMW. But that is 3rd world to the 1st world. That issue can be solved almost overnight by gutting the welfare state and removing the incentives that place these people on the northern coast of France bypassing everywhere in between.

  44. There used to be a fella advertise in the exchange and mart in the 90's. K9 defense or some such thing. Sold fully trained gaurd/attack dogs. He was based in Wales. Well, a keeper I knew from out Norwich way had been having bother with thievery round his lot and tracked all the way across to see this fella spent the day learning all the commands etc, and parted with the best part of 3grand for this big horrible b*****d of a rotty. He turns up back at home, pitch black in the early hours and goes to get the dog out the back of the hi Lux. F.ucker goes garrity! Won't let him nowhere near, leaves

  45. Local DWR has a collection station and the date and time are posted on their website. Usually once a month. You have to do an online registration course and hang on to at least the scalp with both ears (full pelt accepted) and at least two-thirds of the lower jaw. Ears are tagged to stop you attempting to resubmit for extra bounty. Once they are satisfied with the submission they mail you a cheque. Currently scalp and lower jaw. It does change but not too frequently. Fill out the forms and give the GPS coordinates of where you bagged it. Disposal of the remainder of the carcass is down

  47. I have often read news articles and wondered how on earth an adult could die as a result of a dog attack. Then ast week I had the opportunity to meet a mali....show bred most likely.....it was the scariest most unstable dog I have ever seen. It was 'handled' by the most ineffective irrisponsible person who seemed to be in denial about just how dangerous it was, grabbing at people and other dogs alike. The dog deserved a bullet and the handler deserved a good boot in the hole.
