  2. Was it the queue of new Mercedes parked outside the local infant school loaded up with fat birds in bed clothes that gave the game away or the fact the local builders van is worth more than his entire business that gave the game away ????

  3. The UK isnt stopping because it’s impossible for it to stop !.......it’s got f**k all to do with “bulldog spirit” and “keep calm and carry on” and all that old bollocks........it’s pure and simple that the machines needs feeding all the time. Most people I’d say are about 4 pay packets away from serious problems at any one time and an unprecedented situation like this exposes that fundamental social flaw. You are working for “the man” at all times, and stopping everything will let the cat out of the bag big time.

  4. I have never owned a robotic lurcher morty a bit of Jack of all trades master of none day or night some better than others and worst than most but one thing they all had in common if I slipped them or they put some thing up they tried there best to catch it till the end that's all I ever ask they try there best what you described is a dog that's thinking and running for itself

  10. This season I haven't done alot of hunting but over christmas I managed a night out lamping followed by a days ferreting. I invited a friend along who's bringing on his bedlington. I took bud, the pup I bred who's now 5 year old. We had a decent night catching 7 rabbits and missed a few aswell. Bud was rushing his chances and the rabbits where giving him a good run. All in all it was a good night and the ferreting was a good day aswell. I'm editing that and it will be ready next week. I hope you enjoy the video. Thankyou

  15. your right, always baffles me when people say good dogs dont take any stick i know lads that only run fox and will drive past anything else so fox is all there dogs know and they still get bitten ....the fox aint exactly a slow animal i dont see how these out and out fox dogs run by the side of them supposedly and pick them up by the head, most of the fox i see taken are spun from the back and the dog has to adjust its grip this is when dog get marked, but even then if Reynolds been had round the throat if the dogs not a mounting and bone crusher he can still mark the dog on the back of the face,

  16. That’s a very good post . A fox dog early on in its career will take a smack or two and if pointed regularly at the biting stuff will take a bit of stick . Never seen this “ picks them up by the scruff of the neck at full speed “ . The good regular foxers I’ve seen always look like they’ve had a fight with a combine after a night or two . Dogs that have occasionally meet a Fox a few times a season may get away with it. Those who run Reynard more regular will get bit.

  18. I'm a big fan of wearing 3 socks while out with the dogs. Many a sock has been sacrificed for the holy log mate ? But dockleaves or a clump of brown dry grass is good lol.

  20. And the wise man can benefit from the fear mate.like sheep they allways follow the pack.the same 1's who I mentioned the other day. Who would happily camp outside a shop to buy the latest phone. Or stand waving a little British flag with the speed of a humming birds wing as the queen is driven by. The wolf watching the pack move is the wise 1.

  32. the confusion here comes from the term coursing dog being used as apposed to saluki x or saluki grey, two very different things, coursing dogs have been refined by breeding best bloodlines together for generations to excel at their task, and named rightly imo by that task, and to me offer far more to any lurcher than a greyhound ever could.

  34. When i put what i origannly put i mean a dog refusing to run something because its close to cover or a dog behind something and qaurry pulls to a wood and dog pulls up and comes away with still abit to go. Alot of dogs can be made stale and theyll do this but the real gooduns wont no matter what stick you give them. Thats what i meant not a dog bot bieng able to get to what hes after or losing it in cover that type of thing.

  35. I think a lot of good dogs get put in the ground for having brains. It's not jacking when a dog backs off in thick scrub esp when they know the ground. Not like letting a quarry go if its too quick. If you wan't dogs that do stupid stuff and get injured constantly well and good,I personally can't afford the vets or having my working dogs out of action that much.

  39. Collie x greyhound x bull greyhound = bull x bedlington x greyhound xbull greyhound = bull x just about any lurcher with a drop of bull blood in it is classed as a bull x cracks me up
