  3. Sooo bored with this crap weather!.decided on a solo mission to a local farm where woodies are causing a bit damage .stuck a couple of decoys out on outskirts of field that has a small row of sycamore trees that birds always settle in them before flying onto crop field. Slow and steady was the way it went but although very windy I managed a decent bag mk1 rapid used and birds all prepped in field

  6. .....are brill. Especially for scaring woodpigeon! Pigeon everywhere and so fast. Really testing to scare them it was. I used a belt full of cartridges to scare them off barley today but unfortunately I got my scaring a little wrong on a few shots but not to worry I can make a meatloaf and enough dog food for a couple of days

  8. The glorious 12th, start of the grouse shooting season and the time of year to start digging out your leads/collars/nets/wellies etc, buy some fresh battery’s for your locators and boxes, get your lamps charged up and get the dogs fit (and yourself lol) as the hunting season is just around the corner! Looking forward to this one as my youngest rabbiting busher is now ready to go properly and can see what’s she’s got about her but early signs are all good and should be some good days ahead once she settles down to her job and stops being a c**t lol but no rush and she can come along as she want

  15. I think terrierwork in general is on a downward spiral, a lot have left the game and none of the younger generation have replaced them. Also in regards to terrier clubs, the notion of meeting once a month for a few pints and a catch up is long gone, everyone and everything is so easily accessible these days that the romance of it seems to have disappeared. Hope I’m wrong mind.

  16. Did not think we were going to make it out last night it P*ssed down all morning but Si checked the weather and it was going to clear up around 5ish so the time was set for 4,30 We hit the perm and had a walk round first loads out . Now this perm is horse paddocks and never mind how many we shoot it seams that a few days later there are more than the last time the owners want every one of the rabbits shot some of the horses run into 1000s of pounds and god forbid if one was to break a leg because of the rabbit digging holes so all must go. 20. Honestly mate, don’t get hijacked by his drivel......let him do that on his own nonsense threads. I can only speak for myself, but as a fan I honestly never think about the “what if” (well, maybe once a year ! Lol)......I’m just happy following my club, I like who we are and what we are all about.......happy enough with that personally. I have said it before, I’d be a West Ham fan and happy if we were non league so none of it matters a f**k really to me in that regards. All that said, competitive sport is competitive sport and I want to see us compete and give everything and pla

  27. Such a stark contrast to this country. The kids having a laugh and great time chucking dead possums and carrying pigs. A big comp with plenty of sponsors. Over here we can hardly muster a game fair now a days. Down to pressure from do gooders and carrot nibblers

  33. Regards corporate/business I tend to agree.... the point is, where do you go from Pep to improve? City are playing the best football since the top UTD sides and Arsenals invincibles... in fact probably better... there has been a remarkable improvement in quality of play since Pep joined... the money has been there for a long time, so his influence is huge obviously.... I just cant see where you would go management wise, City are set to rule this country and probably Europe for a long time imo... Regards ole and Frank....I agree, I think ole has the tougher job as UTD have suffered se

  35. I think it’s healthy for the game to see all these young coaches coming through mate, especially young English coaches. Yesterdays openers felt very promising for the season ahead.....I think we could witness some fantastic football.

  37. Pep and Juergen are simply the two best coaches in the game, and they are at clubs who will back them up with all the resources they require.....as we can see, it’s a powerful combination. However, it’s also nice to see the Graham Potters of this world doing their thing.......I think we are entering a very good time for English football.

  39. Bang on mate, who could replace him? He is a serial winner who can handle managing the biggest clubs....Man City want to be in the "big club" bracket and Pep is your man for that... as much as it goes against the grain to say it City are a fantastic team to watch, and have quality cover in every position...Liverpools first 11 are equally as brilliant but I think their slightly weaker squad will cost them the league again this year...

  41. I don't think there's anyone better than pep imo so who would you replace him with nicepix and the city fans would be in uproar if he did get sacked which I couldn't see happening I think the cl final is only a matter of time with that team
