I believe every one of them as I've known them all my life all country folk that know the difference between a dog and a cat. I'm not about to call any one of them a liar. Cheers Arry

  4. You have to ask him for proof, it works like this, if your sceptical you can just talk any old bollox and in your little group your the kiddie, but anything else they just dismiss with nothing to back it up, like mc top quote loads of lads would be slipping on them, he knows no one that has ever had an opportunity because he’s a young pretender, we’re as an old boy like me or arry could give more than one account of mates meeting them while out lamping, then there is that great Nessie card they throw out but are to busy once again patting there own back to bother looking back over the thread t

Your really showing your stupidity now mate, sometimes it’s better to say nothing when you no nothing rather than just making noise to be relevant, Harry is talking about proper country folk that have lived and worked there land for generations, they know what a dog attack looks like on there sheep as they see them all the time they no when a sheep is killed and eaten in ways not used by native animals they also no every animal and it’s routes across there land without looking twice so when they are stood in front of a black cat standing 23” at the shoulder they no it’s not a deer badger or fo

She is not a big fan of being in the run during the day but in fairness is relativity quiet. When I stop for grub I let her out and we do some thing even ten minutes training and then shes ok until the evening big walk. She is in a crate in house at night. I made sure there was nothing on it for her to reach but kept finding stuff in there some how. One evening watching tv out corner of my eye I saw this dogs leg reaching around the corner. Must been extendable lol was

  11. I did chuckle to myself when I heard them being called golden wheaten terriers. I was told that they are all crossed with Pits or Canario mastiffs. Why any genuine wheaten man would add mastiff blood to a wheaten is beyond me. In my mind, the breeders are as much to blame as the individual in the show. If breeders spent a little more time finding genuine lads instead of lining their pockets these individuals wouldn’t be able to bring unnecessary attention to breeds they have no business owning.

FFS a true country man has a better idea of size and allowing for dead ground, range etc. All there lives spent working living in the country side knowing all the different animals that live in the environment how they act how they move. When I was talking difference between dog and cat I was referring to them seeing big cats. Now a question for you. Have you just come on again to stir the shit??? Cheers Arry

Your deed for the day is done, you managed to spur me on to knocking a few fox droppers up? thought sod it so I’m doing a 20 batch of new brass as well and having a go with the 32gr vmax.. the 40gn factory stuff was accurate but splashed a few, want to see how home grown works! The x-terminator worked well in the .223 so hopefully it’ll be good in .204, it’s cheaper than reloaded and throws better!

  23. So my birds are still eating, sleeping and sh*ting so I can ask for much more than that, I’ve started the swap over onto wheat now and feeding further from the pens into a few of the main drives, the oats at the back of the farm are just about poking through some I’m expecting a mass assault on them any day now, but for now they seem happy enough on the rides and in the cover not to far from the pens, even sharing a bit of spilt wheat with a young prickett. There’s been a couple more reported cases of the dreaded bird flu in the area so I’m keeping everything crossed that I don’t see any of th

I carry a few decent sized knives with me everyday and everywhere I go, in my pocket and van, I don’t have any intention to stab anyone unless I was under attack so why should I be jailed for the action of some uncivilised youths actions miles away, if you do stick a blade in someone it is an attempted murder for which we have sufficient laws to cover so just enforce the law and stop asking for more unforced law that one day will bite you on the arse, WE DONT NEED MORE LAWS ?

  35. I've lamped a big cat in Northern Ireland a puma it was November 2008 between 2 villages one called Claudy and the other village is park. I had just moved back from New York and was renting a farmhouse in a very rural area, there was another man with me...I was lamping out the window and spotted it on the lamp at about 15 mile an hour....wasn't sure what it was..so flicked lamp in windscreen and driver stopped up... not massive but very substantial...couldn't believe it but carried on.. Northern Ireland you didn't need a licence for them but I think you do now... I happened to mention the inc

  38. Sadly I understand the law probably as much as you but my point is, I know my knives are not legal but I don’t go round threatening to stab people and why should anybody want to stop and search an innocent old man, secondly as I don’t agree with it all I would be willing to stand in the dock and argue my corner, there are very few days in my life I don’t use my knife and I,ve carried one since birth, surely I,m not the only one that remembers buying there first pen knife off the card in the hardware shop after popping in everyday just looking at it till you could raise the 10p for a purchase

  46. Those in power and authority do not give a f**k about the rise in knife crime especially when you see cases like the company director in South Yorkshire getting jailed for 60 months for fiddling his tax returns and then another lad who nearly killed another lad around here by stabbing him in his neck after they were arguing over a scrap collection only got 24 months.

  49. I retired at 51 after 26 years out there and kept my airline benefits, including the free flights for me an my missus. We still travel a lot, the missus more so than me. I've not worked again, and don't miss the pressure or responsibilities. I sometimes wonder what life would have been like if I had retired to Australia or New Zealand, but we probably have the best of both worlds, a base here and the ability to travel. ? Cheers.
