So this is an , I guess you can call it an article? Idk , it I wrote this for another site but I've shared it around and eveyone seems to like it. Figured y'all might as well. If this isn't the proper place to to it I'd really appreciate it be moved to the appropriate place. Thanks you. So So , probably three or so years back I post some pics of my uncle and some of the old heads making sausage, crackins' n the like. Talked a lil about how it was a microcosm of what we used to do.....some things I remember being a Lil kid growing up round here ,and alot of folks found it interesting. Well24 points

It's something I've thought about quite a bit but trying to look at the causes for the 1st and 2nd world wars is a worm hole where you will always struggle to see the truth. It really is a case of the truth goes to the Victors. To even begin to discuss the 2nd war you need to discuss the first and the state of the German people between the wars. The world has now written the nazis down as the most evil movement that ever existed in the history of life in the planet, led by purely evil people who committed unrivaled acts of atrocity. Yet can we really blame them for most of the stag7 points

I knew a few old time bulldog men. They would say that a black terrier is meaner than any bulldog. Some of my young male terriers can be dog aggressive.I take them hunting on the river. If they act up I baptize them.If they act up again then I baptize them again.Sooner or later they will behave as Christian dogs?6 points

The Holocaust is kept in the public's eyes by Jewish propoganda. I agree with Chart's summary of the cause of it, but similar atrocities have been committed against Jews since written records began. You have to ask yourself why? Also, don't forget that after WW2 Stalin bartered with the West for a Soviet for a Ally prisoner of war entailing that the Allies had to forcibly return any Soviets and that included many Poles and other Central or Eastern European prisonersto be sent to Russia in return for Allied POWs being released from camps in the areas the Russians controlled. Lol, compare that to an aquaintance of my old mate. Similar sort of scenario, but with two 10 month old salukis, brother and sister. Slipped the pair of them, ran straight up the beam, and kept running, and running, and running lol, never to be seen again!! Lol The fella looked a tad relieved, to be honest lol5 points

With all the shite going on regarding shooting, hunting, gun licensing, rabbiting on common ground, digging, etc, etc, etc. I just thought I’d bring a reminder of how good things were in the eighties. I have mentioned this place on a couple of occasions but have only recently got some pics. (More to follow). When I got back to the UK in 84, I took a year off to adjust. During this time I was welcomed into the shooting and hunting fraternity and indeed managed to organise and run a private shoot near to Ashby deal Zouch. We were very successful and indeed moved into gun dog training and gun dog4 points

We pay for two green waist bins about eighty quid a year I think....worth every penny imo as we have a fair bit to shift and I hate putting in my car and taking it to the tip especially now our local tip has closed...15+ miles now to the next one. I'd say if you use them to their full potential they are worth it ?3 points

I had an accidental litter, brother to sister of game bred pits. I had to separate them at 5 weeks due to the life or death fights. I've never seen more agro dogs, even adults. I think it's more close inbreeding that causes that level of aggression as the parents weren't nearly as bad. My mate who keeps bees has to keep changing Queens to prevent close inbreeding and ending up with unmanageable stock.3 points

We have a Mikita one at work seems ok on stuff upto about 6” but as with all chainsaws it’s about keeping the chain sharp rather than blunt it then resharpen, just out of curiosity why do you need to be stealthy your only foraging a bit of free wood, I keep a sthil 16” petrol in my van at all times chop up bits 2/3 days a week on my travels never had any problems, if it looks a bit naughty I just put some cones out and get my hi viz on and everyone assumes I,m the man from the council ??2 points
