  1. There nice little dogs to own, but not really big enough to be an all round lurcher. Mine is very obedient and hunts very well, but lacks speed due to her small size. Although she will go to ground on hares ?

  27. Yeah you're right mate - the adjustability will be needed. I am planning on using it for shooting into trees (another reason I'm undecided on the .25, not that there be any risk of it leaving our boundary) a lot, especially at spring time. Mk3 it is! Was just trying to be a tight git - it's all the bloody northerners on here being bad influence!!

  30. The bloke I spoke to (Peter) said that an 8ft was easy to make but the 15ft is a lot harder and they were struggling to make them reliable and reasonable sized. Id agree, the main thing I’ve heard is people wanting a range more than 8ft

  32. I have the same about once a month. On the receipt there is a web site you can visit (mcdsfoodforthought or similar) do a quick questionairre and they send you a 5 digit code. Write this on your receipt and you get the above for 1.99. I just did it once then just wrote the same code on a receipt every time, they never check them against anything lol Cheers, D.

  33. No a pup hasn't done them. My mate has a gun shop and last year i took him down to get him some wellies. It was at a time when stock was low but he said i have a pair of Chameau that are fur lined. Anyway when i went to fish the box out from the back of the shop they where a pair of "returns". Which ,means for some reason someone had returned them and either had a replacement pair or refund. The wholesalers don't want wellies sending back to them but they want the logo cutting off the front and sending in instead. So as my mate hadn't got any in his size apart from these returns he said

  36. first cross is ideal for bushing, make about 18tts.i use them for mooching, marking for ferreting, squirrels, odd pheasant etc. I know a terrier would do the same job but mine will catch a rabbits on short runs and in cover.
