On Saudia Haj flights coming from the third world, they didn't even know what toilets were. They simply put a pillow on the floor between the rows of seats and pissed and shit there. Cheers.5 points

I have to say my vet is brilliant. Whenever they can they book in PTS animals as the last appointment and the owner can stay there as long as needed with the animal then walk out and lay another day. He is a great bloke. Also very few overweight animals in my vets as he is on owners straight away about overweight pets.5 points

Hamilton is a dick, but didn’t deserve to lose that win today. He was the quicker driver and the safety car ‘rules’ decided the title.., which is just sh!te in my opinion. There should be no tyre changes or advantage gained in a safety car situation. F1 need to sort that out, because that was a fcukin shambles today.4 points

I can well understand your preference for the stunning looking,. non-pedigree, Hard Blood style of whippet ,...however,.. these superlative , purpose bred racing machines, often harbour a slight problem, for the roustabout hunting man....?4 points

I must be very, very old..... cos I can still remember the days when a person's standards and reputation (for better or worse) was based on how they behaved, rather than how many "likes" they could get on FaceBook. Maybe that's why so many worthwhile stories begin with the phrase "Back in the good old days" !!!!4 points

Doubted about 17 hmr for years. Today I shot 9 squirrels with the 455. Nothing remarkable there but this farm has been plagued with crows. Today I gently poked around some round bales my rifle to bring about on a field full of crows pecking at drilled grain. The wind was not quite but mostly on me. I proceeded to shoot four crows, one after the other. Some left but some stayed. They couldn't of heard the rifle down wind from them and also they just ignor the crop scarer they have been listening to for months! The closest was 75yd or so. The far one 130yds or so. All just aim on.3 points

My mate once turned up at mine to drop his dog off before going to silver stone to watch the super bikes . it wasn’t the garish Yamaha pit jacket fleece he’d obviously forgot to take off , or the matching “ the doctor “ Valentino Rossi baseball caps , it was the rear window sticker on his golf tdi saying “ you wouldn’t catch me on my bike “ type shite that he realised he’d f****d up I spent all weekend making “fast bike “ noises at him in what’s app messages . at least the bikes is interesting in a fashion . With Grand Prix the best car wins . I’d genuinely rather watch3 points

It's a team sport so that will always be the case, take today for instance, Perez defending against Hamilton like his life depended on it despite him not challenging for the win. Today showed it can be edge of the knife, both drove amazing this year but Verstappen has been very lucky to escape penalties with the dirty moves he's pulled. Hamilton dominated today but the FIA and the racing gods said different.3 points

Hello folks, not been on here for a few years. Just found out about Johnny boy this morning, can't believe it. Myself and John amongst others used to have some good craic on here back in the day and so it continued on Facebook with Johnny still questioning how my whippet was bred and my choice in shirts? lol. Although I never met Johnny I'll miss him, I know he was one of the good guys. Rip John x3 points

A lovely little walk around the sheep farm with my mate Mosh this morning, first off around the sheds where I managed 3 feral pigeons for 3 shots, I think Mosh was just as shocked as me that I’m actually hitting a few things. Then it was off around the hedge backs to see what was about, we flushed half a dozen partridges and 4 pheasants but as it’s Sunday we let them be, the rabbits weren’t so lucky, I had 2 running through the rape and connected with them both, then as we past a big oak tree a squirrel made a break for it and I nailed that to the tree, I can’t tell you the last time I shot th3 points

Pakis have started putting them in round here, in the old outside toilet, or building a little block extension to put it in, so they can use the old bathroom as an extra room in the house. They obviously just use some cowboy Arab builders who smash into the soil line, rats just jump out of the hole ?3 points

The non-ped racing people breed their dogs to race, they have been breeding the best to the best for generations to get the fastest dog over a relatively short distance. They get great pride in seeing their progeny win big Open races and Racing Champion status. Gone are the days when people like me would have "dual purpose" whippets, hunting and coursing during the week and racing at the weekend. I still go regularly to my local Whippet clubs and am friends with many of the people. I've been offered very well bred pups many times to get me back into racing, but have never been o3 points

Cheeky wee Friday off so had arranged to meet Joe and his dug Glen for 7ish this morning and first light. I had Jess and 4 ferrets and joe had 3 of his. Laid a fair few nets on the first bit between us and got 3 off it, Jess marked well and again held in the nets, still better than nothing. moved along a bit and dogs again marked spot on, took 6 off that bit between us with only 1 dog required. Glen as always is reliable and steady but was chuffed with Jess, marked and worked like she’s been at it for years. penny has well and truly dropped.3 points

Used stay with my Gran sometimes she had an outside loo round the back up some steps right up the top of the garden and that was a fare old slope. It was not like the toilet bowl we have now it was like a stone bench with a square of wood in the middle with a hole the shape they are now. But it was just like funnel with a little hole us kids didn't like it. Bloody great spiders in there door was 4 inches short top and bottom draughty as f**k with that tracing paper stuff if you were lucky if not it was squares of new paper threaded on that old hairy Woolworths string. In every room was a match3 points

can remember them well. my granddad still used the piss pot tucked under his bed right untill the house was modernised in the late 70s . he would go out to the local club on a fri / sat night and be up and down pissing in his pot. get up in morning and empty it outside. they had a parafin lamp going all winter to try and keep the outside bog from freezing up. all our school toilets were outside too. we had endless days off up here because the school bogs were froze. free milk at school then too. birds would peck the tops of the bottles to get at the milk then we were made to drink the milk. pu2 points

I have a big bushing bitch whom is a straight Lab x Visla ,she has the lab nature & would eat her own back leg if it was offered to her ,but she has the pointer work mindset ,she never stops ,has a really good wind nose & finds and jumps more than her share of rabbits.I would of thought her size would be a disadvantage but she seems to handle heavy cover very well .Id love to try a ESS x visla for a busher /rabbit finder. I had at one time a golden lab x golden Retriever who had the long body of the retriever that allowed him to motor also he was a great rabbit finder & caugh2 points
