A bit more education for the little un today, only five months old but turning into a good little marking dog and getting rewarded when she does after one of the older dogs makes a catch?12 points

Christ y'all sometimes I think my old man done jumped off the deep end . Apparently his new thing is trying to basically tame a sounder of smaller wild hogs into brush clearing work and tilling ? Basically he's been throwing deer corn and old sweet feed out into brush he wants gone and in places he wants tilled up. The hogs go in and do there thing while trying to get the food. And its actually been working really well . Well... It's gotten to the point they figured out if they follow the cows there's usually food and since dad never shoots them.....well he sent me this this morning4 points

They go to ground all the time when under pressure, also seen hares swim across fast flowing rivers before to get away, if they go to ground I think they should be left even if you could reach them to pull them out3 points

How the Hell do they even Do that?! Chube. It's normally some pretty looking little thing, in a mini skirt, or less. Normally mentions " Shuffle Dance ". I always ignored it. Figuring it was some craze. Just decided I should educate myself. Like; WTF?! Watched a few, random vid's. They wear like 'Trainers'. Rubber soled shit? And they can dance on just about Any surface? How The Fukk?!? I can't dance. Never have. Means nothing to me. But, This shit? Weird! Actually reminds me of the old Northern Soul style. I couldn't tell what's the best, or shit. But, this just fascinates me2 points

Went up the coast with the mrs and dog for a couple days. Was a bit windy so didn't put the island up, just went for a swim. Thought I was a goner. I seriously misjudged the sea and got caught in an undercurrent which was pulling me opposite to the wave direction. So basically dragging me under. I was no more than 5m from shore, by the time I got out of it and managed to get back to the beach, I was fuucked. Luckily panic didn't set in and I'm a strong swimmer, plus I knew what to do. Crazy, death can happen so quickly in the sea.2 points

Not good . We were after six pointers. Managed one 4 pointer . They started the evening stalk and promptly got soaked to the skin . I put one in a high seat that overlooks the territory of a nice buck . He watched a small Spiker walk across, stop and look towards where I said the buck would be . The buck burst out of the hedge and chased the Spiker off and back through the hedge , not to be seen again . I wizzed around in the mule with the other chap and quickly spotted a buck , I knew it was only a four pointer, but it was a mature buck that looked like it was going back , so2 points

A mate of mine was very into northern soul way, way back. Thing is he can still move when the mood takes him and people, especially women, love it. Even at his decrepit age. Nothing like being a good dancer to impress lasses.2 points

I am honestly in the top 5 dancers ever . that’s not up for debate . ive cleared dance floors in awe of my moves regularly since I was 15 . I genuinely invented the backwards walking shuffle .2 points

It's interesting to note that when they did experiments in Russian fur farms, trying to breed foxes for increased docility, their ear carriage changed to flop ears, as well as the colour of the fur. Maybe that same gene which increases tractability/trainability is also responsible for the dropped ears of most domestic canines.2 points

I'd say it does affect the ability to survive in the wild as every canine or vulpine and mustaliod (spelling?) has pricked ears and sort of lightly thinking about it all wild animals have pricked ears have they not?? .....2 points

Then this I got made especially for when I was in places I shouldn't have been, some of the coursing clubs were fairly serious individuals when a lurcher was about ,this slowed a few down when I carried it,I'd talk my way out of problems mostly but this stick helped to keep em at bay once or twice2 points
-
I know the ear carriage doesn't affect the ability but I'm with you on that. Worse is Russells with pricked ears.2 points

Be glad when there is one. Be a funny old game with no ferret finder. Like going back 35 years or more and pissing about shoving brambles down hole and digging holes all over the place2 points

It just started when I left, the up side to the rain is it keeps the fly’s down, they were mental up there today I put a couple of drinking butts out today along with the camera, I normally do this in the spring but never got around to it this year, everything uses them so it’s a cracking way to see what’s about, there was a couple of fallow doe’s walking the edge of the oats about 20 yards from where I’ve set the camera so fingers crossed that a buck puts in an appearance2 points

Finally managed to get up to the shoot today to sort drinkers and feeders out, clear a couple of feed area’s and a few other little jobs, it was all hands on deck, me moving feeders about, my shoot captain cleaning the IBC’s out and filling them and the old girl moving stuff about with the load all, I am so far behind this year, the birds are due in 10 days and with a bit of luck all the combining will be finished by then. The lad informed me that we will not be selling days this year, which is a bit of a bugger and he could of told me sooner as I had a good few people lined up for them, lucki2 points
