A left of field comment possibly but something that I have long thought to be true in regard to the English celebrating St. George's day. I am old enough to have seen changes in England. When I was young St. George's day was not celebrated. No one cared. It was not an issue. All the time that I have lived the Irish, Scots and Welsh have celebrated their patron saint's day. The English did not. The reason, in my opinion without wanting to offend anyone is this: The Irish, Scots and Welsh are defeated countries. Historically that cannot be argued with? Defeated by the English7 points

I believe overweight obese people to be weak, probably the weakest of all. Just put the buns down, it's that simple but they can't even manage that. The weakest of the weak. ??5 points

I’ve a Lurcher bitch here that I’d like to rehome, but it’s a bit of a mine field as the world is full of c*nts. She’s a handy dog and a nice animal to have around but doesn’t suit me for my ground. For someone who does a lot of rabbiting or mooching she would be ideal. Jumps, retrieves, good recall, manners on lamp, works with bushers, will catch abs carry feather etc. Great with people and other dogs. She’s a collie bull grey and she’s about two. If I don’t find the right home she will stay here and just come out on mooches with the pack but I’ve young dogs here and it’s not ideal for her or4 points

Shit's getting Crazy, here! Less than an hour ago, I finished feeding everything and took the foxes food out. No sign of Fox fox. Not unheard of. But disappointing as I love seeing her, thinking she's hidden in the grass. But, unable to resist lifting her head to see what I do. Called her. Sounded our code. Looked all around. At her usual corner. Over the hedge. Up the hill. Nothing. Oh well. Walked eight foot and glanced back: To see her, mouth already crammed with chicks. Just stuffing the last couple in there! WTF?! Crafty little fukker must have been holed up so close that I4 points

Wooohoooo, finally got a foot in the door at a place I’ve been trying to get on for a few years now, it’s egg units, stables and a cricket pitch, I’ve been working here for about a year on and off, I’m now landscaping after the build has finished, putting a lake in and raised beds around the house. After putting the beds in today I was talking to the owner about the amount of rabbits and to my surprise he said can you shoot them ?still haven’t got the fox shooting but give me time ?4 points

Absolutely NOT unusual, a dead sheep will always end up looking like that once all the critters have had a go at it.4 points

I was hunting with Lars yesterday, we tented and hunted along a creek. We set up the tent and made a moose dinner on the fire. Went out and hunted about 19.00 we saw a lot of bird activity in the stream had a nice warm spring evening , changing winds made us move along the creek so we stalked the side of the creek until we came down to the hud and had the wind in our face. We should have talken the kayak (We had it with us) instead as it was difficult to walk quiet enough. In front of the hud we had a beaver circling the water but it decided something were wrong and never came up to give us a3 points

Tomorrow 23rd April is St George’s day . I wonder if it will be mentioned on the BBC . Eid , Ramadan , St Patrick’s day , St David’s day , St Andrew , you name it , all gets coverage, but not it seems our own patron Saint .3 points

Atheists "preaching " is more common than you imagine ,Richard Dawkins makes a very compelling argument for being actively anti religious as did Christopher Hitchens ,and history tells us there have been many atheists who have gone to war "off the back of some disagreement " but these are all off shoots of the original question . If you don't mind my saying ,I think it's maybe your manner (which with all the respect can seem a bit supercillious and superior ) that gets people's back up rather than the content of your posts .3 points

Just my own very humble opinion ,but for many people belief in God is complicated ,it's not a yes \no question ,it would take longer than the reply box on a tinterweb forum to clarify how you feel ,for me personally it's not private or secret how I feel ,it's just not easy to describe in a few dozen words , For what it's worth I have a theory that most atheists are against organised religions ( and understandably so )than against the idea of people having a spiritual side .3 points

The answer to your question is simple to answer mate... Zero big cat road casualties in the uk.. Reason being there's no big cat's to knock down..yes maybe the odd released 1 from a private collection now and again.but zero breeding population in the uk.. Just over 9 million walkers/ramblers in the uk.and not 1 single big cat cub has been found...reason being..they ain't there to be found... Game keepers..farmers..millions and millions of people working and out in the countryside every single day..yet nothing to be found..2 points

I honestly think that I feel more likely to start displaying the flag of St George than I would .... say a year or two ago . All this BLM bullshit and the black actors on the adverts and being cast in historic roles ( a black Ann Boleyn as an example) the anti Brexit BBC and general reporting in the media . All it is doing is making race an issue, an issue that before didn’t bother me much , but now it’s getting on my tits . I feel as if , as a white middle aged man , I am being marginalised and my cultural identity is being eroded more strongly and more rapidly than ever before. It is creati2 points
