Hi Lads, Hope everyone's been well. Had abit of a problem with the account and couldn't get back in until now. In the mean time I've brought on a young dog.. He's 13 monhs now and showing great promise. He's seen a nice bit as of now. He's first cross bull whippet, I just couldn't refuse another and I have to say I'm quite happy with him.

I was asked to ferret a farm last weekend. We managed a couple bolts but was expecting it to be better. We only found two decent Warren's but one was next to a drain. I wasnt using locaters because I have misplaced the collar batteries. In the week I went lamping with my mate Ella and her dogs. It was a great night using the thermal spotter. Talking of squirrels, me and a mate have had 13 off a feeder that I set up a couple of weeks back. I took it down yesterday as I’m going to relocate this one. Action has slowed down and it was in a fairly small wood. This was the last squirrel taken, and the only one to show in two hours.....

What's everyone's view on numbers and attitude towards hunting rabbits, a lot of game has seasons and number restrictions but rabbits are classed as a pest and don't fall into this category, I wonder if attitudes to hunting rabbits would change if you had number restrictions to 3 a night (more than I usually get) because we're certainly not gonna starve if we blank. are you; Out for numbers, Out for a few, Time with the hound in the outdoors, Or. Something else?

Here's two.... Keep it simple, pan fry in loads of butter (more than you think sensible), plenty of salt and pepper. Brown surfaces then oven for ten to fifteen. Second recipe.... And this one takes rabbit to a new level..... Get a large sandwich bag or zip lock, into it put a generous dash of olive oil, a large squirt of garlic paste, two teaspoons of salt, one pepper, two corriander powder, two teaspoons of smoked paprika and some lemon juice.
