Ive seen a couple of different dogs that would smash into a boar and get bashed about that wouldn't entertain a little ol fox.

It's massively changing. We live on the edge of the pennines and the pakis have certainly found it this year. Fckin hundreds of em carrying bbqs, curry pots and flying carpets onto the moors everytime the sun shines. My lovely granddaughter survived her heart operation last year and made a full recovery .that alone was magical .but since then I have gave my daughter and her family there first pet .this was given to me on fathers day .best pic ever

Keith Floyd bought a country pub / restaurant call the Maltsters Inn he changed the name to Floyds, this was in a village about three miles from me. Well on a stag night pub crawl of a mate mine somebody reckoned we should descend on his pub. Shot this buck the other morning, 25/20 .6 sumekie and 8mm steel. I can comfortably hit a bottle top at 20 yrd so shot placement wasn’t a issue, I hit him and he did the usual summersault but to tell the truth I feel more comfortable killing with bigger ammo. I was finally able to get out stalking. I love this time of year, stalking at first and last light with time in between spent on the beach... Anyway, I had a bit of luck and the freezer is no longer ‘critical’. I saw dozens of does. The bucks just weren’t active, every one I shot was in cover, none in the open like the does. I sometimes bait a tidal brook near my house for foxes. As the crow flies it is about three hundred yards from my front door. The place i choose to shoot from is with my back against a thorn hedge and behind that is a six foot high chain link fence which surrounds a treatment plant. Great read Ian and what a worthy fox, when I used to follow a local hunt I used to love seeing a good adversary laying false scents to give the hounds the run around you would see them sitting in a vantage point sniffing the air and listening catching their breath before they make there next move. Very intelligent survivors and no matter how much shooting dog work hunting there still here and seem to go from strength to strength.

It's just advertising; adverts are exaggerations to sell things. If you are getting a pup, do your homework, see the parents work, or talk to people, other than the breeder, who has seen them work.
