Personally,...when choosing a performance type stud dog,..a beast that is required to pass on, specialist attributes,?...I would like to know just who is coming to the party. However, for a roustabout rabbiting dog, I would not hesitate in using an obvious 'hunter, seeker, finder and catcher',..at an early age...?10 points

Sometimes, If you really have something special, leaving it until 6 years is too late. They often fail to make old bones.9 points

All depends in situation and if the dogs from a good line preferably have 3 seasons and proved itself to a decent standard of work and a good temperament why not7 points

If you put in enough work, of whatever type, to a dog, you should know long before it's 5 or six years of age, if it's worth breeding from. Not trying to be clever, but alot of people are waiting far too long to use potentially great dogs at stud because 'everyone else' says 'they need at least 4 or 5 years graft' before they'd consider using them. ....... hogwash!6 points

Had a pal ring to say he’s seen a mink around his fishing lake , it’s only a small place and he keeps it beautiful only half a dozen swims really secluded and mainly for friends and family . He had a problem a few years ago with mink and they caused him a lot of problems , killed the ducks on the ponds , all his fancy chicken and we’re going through the fish at a rate of knots , his wife was anti kill them until she lost her chicken by which time they had become a prop nuisance..This time it was get at them ASAP , so I went round mainly to drop of some cage traps , two cups of coffee and a na5 points

Some will never put there lurcher up for public stud. To me when something gets popular its starts going downhill. I only keep lurcher dogs and im lucky ive access to abit of running so ive been asked a few times its not often ill say yes. Youll find alot of times people will use a dog hoping to fix bad traits in a bitch that doesnt work either best to breed strength to strength not to weaknesses5 points

As much as I don't like him all these protest's are a joke. Shower of shiftless over sensitive needy c**ts . Im All for freedom to protest but this is nothing more than the wannabe noticed culture this world has turned into. I saw some of the protesters on telly not a political bone in Thier body just turned up cause they decided I need to part of this Facebook social media protest frenzy. "Oh im gay or Poor. Veggie vegan gender whatever the f**k it is I have to be there" I'll be on the telly or might even get interviewed. Regardless that they make a total c**t of themselves5 points

Rescued this dog when I was a teenager. Haven’t a clue how old or how she was bred. She was a really good bitch and I was out with her every weekend. Had some great times until I come home from school one day to find someone had taken her!5 points

Almost 3 years ago when me and the wife were out in Aussie, my son treated us to a meal to celebrate our 40th anniversary, in Nikko's Taverna so... Greek. For a starter I tried the pickled octopus salad and it was superb. Thought I would have a go at replicating it, but due to a lack of octopus I tried it with squid tubes. It was almost there but not quite. I messaged my son a picture of it and he said he recalls the big lumps of garlic in it, and plenty of them. I amended the recipe with said garlic and am now just waiting for it to pickle. Photo is the one I sent him prior to4 points

Well it was one of those nights . After walking the last poults back through the pop holes I put the mule in to what I thought would be the best place to shoot from , overlooking the killing area and with the wind in my face , this was about 9.0pm . Hadn’t been there long and the cattle found me and surrounded me . I moved away but they followed. This was turning into a joke , I’d move then they followed. I moved around the other side but this time I had the wind on my neck . About 10pm now and I spotted that unmistakable vulpine shape through the half light . Thermal on and it was defo Charli4 points

When I was a lad I used to go match fishing , I used to get dropped off and picked up by my mates dad or my mum . We used to carry on fishing after the match . One day a mink came along and I threw him a dead bleak floating in my keep net . It snaffled it up and came back a few minutes later and I repeated the process. I thought if it comes back again I’ll have him . I set up my pike gear with snap tackle and sure enough it came back and I cast another bleak then , wham I struck into it , my pal came over and knocked it on the head . It was a Birmingham anglers stretch of the Severn and a bail3 points

It is good to listen to everyone's opinions,..that is how we learn.. With a rabbiting dog, I like to watch a potential Stud at his work, several times,...I am looking for a dog that will offer something different/better, than my own animal. If a dog is acting in the manner that suits me, I will use him across a suitable bitch,... It is difficult to gauge exactly, how a young dog might act, after six or seven years rabbiting,..anything could happen..there are no guarantees... Catching rabbits used to be my occupation, so I reckon to know what I need,...it ain't rocket scien3 points

Better off using eBay mate I no they charge you but you get less nutters trying to swap shit or Africans asking you to post to Uganda, have sold stuff on most public platforms but now only use eBay and PayPal for the reasons everyone is mentioning here, I was selling a transit van some years back in a free add paper and a bloke kept messaging me asking me to swap it for a fish tank, I was after a smaller van at the time and had put in the add that I'd swap for a small van of simular value but fish tank man was just relentless, I asked him if there was room for my tools and a few bags of plast3 points

Trump is dangerous, but at the same time his approach to politics has paid off in a number of areas! Lets be clear here, I am not a fan, but I am surprised how well a few things have turned out for him, hands up, he has done better than I expected, not least of which, I expected an assassination attempt before now!3 points

Just put my email address and then I seemed to get the more geniune people message me! I still laugh now I had a automated call saying I had a accident which I agreed ( I was bored at the time ) then i automatically get thru to a human, I said I was driving and having a wank3 points
