Went out this morning with the compatto, after a good hour plinking to get my ranges sorted i went to a farm for ferrals, got about 12 but could only pick up these 4 between 25 & 40 mtrs, went to a paddock after that and got 2 decent rabbits 1 at about 30 and the other at 50mtrs

I've spent the last few days re-reading this thread, and looking at, and marvelling over the great pics of these brilliant dogs doing what they do best, and over some very varied types of terrain. Only the most kennel blind and ignorant people, could dispute that these dogs are not suitable for hard work. Best thread on here by far. Thanks to all that have posted and put pics, vids etc up. I never get tired of looking at this thread

Ok ,spent the last 3 hours down my 100 yard indoor range and all I can say is what a gun the impact is ,pellet on pellet at 65 yards . Right the problem had some thing to do with the shroud which came with the gun , I tried every thing ,scope , pellets and made sure the barrel was tight . So I thought I would have a look at the inside of the shroud but found nothing wrong with it ,so put it back on and shooting spot on . What the hell it was ,god only knows . my new shroud / silencer will be coming tomorrow and at the end of the month a new X barrel is coming free of charge

Don't blame you! I spent years going to Spain on my own. Fly out, couple of bullfights, eat/drink what I wanted when I wanted. I met people from all over the world who I'm still in touch with now. Often had a stop over in Amsterdam on the way home. I still have plenty of overnights on my own now but only in the UK. The minute I retire I'm off on my Spanish trips again!
