  3. Had my youngest lad today and we have been snowed in for a few days. I asked him what he wanted to do today.....skate park? Bike ride? No Dad can we take the dogs out!! We headed to a bit of ground that holds a few rabbits and not many people go there. The busher was on fire and the lurcher was struggling to keep up. Haven’t been here for a while so we had a few more bolts than normal. A range of cover from thick brambles to tall grass and bracken. Lurcher was marking well and needless to say the lad had a great time. A few good runs and a couple of decent catches. Perfect afternoon. ATB

  5. Had a walk around topping up some of the squirrel feeders late afternoon . As i thought not a lot of squirrels about , which is not surprising after the weather we have had and haven't been able to get over to top feeders up. Few pigeons about and managed to get a few after giving up on the squirrels . Bit of awkward place to shoot in these woods with new tree shoots coming up everywhere

  7. Maybe I'm just complacent but at the age of 52 I aint needing to learn much more nor have I in the last 20 years .I was lucky in the the chap I first went out with was as laid back as I am about the whole deal .No need to run about with the box ,no need to listen at holes and no need for needless talk. Dig the hole to match the depth and try to break through just behind the dog .Backfill tube behind dog if animal is to be despatched .This is where I've seen things go from bad to worse.

  11. Jess and I had a small session under roosting woodies. As the bitter easterly turned into mild southern breeze it was nice to be out. We ended up with six woodies, a crow and a squirrel. I won't discuss the shot count but I had a jolly good old banging session (watch it!). Here is soggy Jess on squirrel watch. U.

  14. Okay, I'll bite as it's a quiet Sunday morning! First of all, it was 757. Not a 747. The hole was 75ft not 40, with a further 12 ft hole caused by the plane's landing gear. The plane sheared off one wing on the ground before it didn't punch it's cartoon style 'plane hole' in the side of the Pentagon, which is a reinforced concrete building. The other was sheared off by the Pentagon's support columns as it pierced the building. The Pentagon is a well-hardened military facility which explains why a lot of the windows were left intact. They're blast resistant. The damage caused is pretty con

  15. A couple of weeks ago we had some time at the In-laws house, Nonna and Nonno. This time of year they like to have a family meal of ravioli containing ricotta filling. It is always two plater's, one with a cinnamon/parmesan cheese, one plater of ravioli coated in the basic pasta sauce/parmesan cheese. This is like the first course, the pillow is made from a lighter pastry by hand, filled with about two tablespoons of ricotta, closed and boiled until just right, seasoned and served. Second course was rabbit pan fried in olive oil, salt pepper, butter, rosemary along with some

  20. Love how the deniers just keep saying bullshit to any explanation given but present nothing themselves lol Al Qaeda is a real group. The yanks or Brits didn't make them up haha. It was a name they picked themselves. The Taliban hardliners went to Al Qaeda. As for the passport questions I already said there was lots of personal belongings from plane passengers scattered around. But as I already said you don't give a shit about that though lol

This lads mother appeared to be some sort of drug addict, she sat in an armchair and didn’t say a word to me, that was until I pulled 150 quid out my arse pocket, then suddenly she wanted to be my best friend and tell me how cracking the pup was. Thanks for the comment mate, I’m looking forward to the future with him. atb ??

  35. Totally agree with that mate, when I was stupid enough to still beleive I voted conservative with one thing in mind.....just get rid of the Tony Blair party and I thought to myself “Surely everyone can see this is f***ing horrible and sinister” and I believed (I feel stupid for it now) that sanity would reassert itself in the next parliament.......but no, it just carried on exactly the same and what’s more they even expanded on it ! Young people round my old area need a minimum deposit of £52 k to buy the cheapest 3 bed house in town !.......and then they need £2k a month clear to stand s
