  1. Couple of years ago a mate and his wife looked after the dog when we went to Aussie. We bought a bulk lot of Richmond sausages for the dogs breakfast... the fcuker wouldn't touch them. My mate said don't worry they didn't go to waste and they were bl00dy lovely... told him he could keep the rest. The dog still won't eat them. TBH I'm not a fan of any commercial sausages which is why I first got into making sausages, and with well sourced pork and careful butchery you end up with the very best sausages.

  8. Personally I don't feel beat mate, I'm off a council estate and through graft have a decent enough business, a place with a bit of land, and a few other bits and bobs.. the "system" has neither hindered or helped me, like loads of others I've just cracked on and got out what I've put in... im just not a huge moaner about what the government (or anyone else for that matter) should or shouldn't be doing for me, and this leave vote is just another reason why it makes no odds to me.... i hoped for some big changes and thought from a business point of view it may have made life harde

  10. I'm ok pal ,it's of no consequence to me. I also have nothing to gain from seeing the dog work. Best of luck with the puppies and the Dickinson dog

  11. Already a proven stud ? Didn't you think of proving it worthy of breeding through its ability to graft ,rather than his ability to get it's end away... Best of luck

  15. I was seriously excited the morning after the vote... couldn't believe our votes were really going to make a difference for once... it really felt like a change was happening... now... bored of it.. bored of the whole shite concerning it, realise it makes no odds what you vote... im still grafting away, sorting my own shit out, will make sure I leave a bit for the kids to give them a decent enough start.... going back into my bubble... sorry lads, it's just less frustrating and better for my brain that way!!

  20. Thanks I had never knowingly seen one until a few months ago either. A mate of mine is well into taking pictures of them and I tagged along a few times. I have now got used to their call and hear one most days, they are surprisingly common but still not that easy to photograph as they never stay still. When I locate one and have my camera it is just a mater of waiting for them to be inquisitive and get used to me standing their waiting.

  22. Had my first crack at reloading today after spending ages staring at the kit and fretting. The aim was start the development of a load for my 6.5x55. The ingredients were Lapua brass, CCI benchrest primers, Vihtavuori N160 and Barnes 120 grain TTSX. I was hoping for an MV of around 2800 and figured this would be phase one of a long road. There were several false starts on the run up to today due to not having little but essential bits of equipment. Needless to say this gave me more time to research which only served to get me totally bloody confused as the data seemed to vary depend

  32. I appreciate your sentiments Wyeman ....... I voted leave and, now we're being pissed about. 1000 petitions won't change that but, I will sign them for you. Those in power have already decided how it's going to be and, they'll use all sorts of smoke and mirrors to make sure it happens. ..... The silent majority haven't got the stomach to gather the numbers needed to make any real changes. This bit might sound a bit defeatist but, f**k it - in my honest opinion, you're better of squirelling away as much as you can and taking care of you and yours.

  36. No offence mate but the teaching is supposed to be done by you! My daughter is 15 too. Whenever she pulls that daft liberal crap, she hears at school. I pull her and debate it. The onus is that she has to make her mind up, by having all the info. Get them questioning everything mate, that's how they/we learn/learned They are pumped full of way too much propaganda these days, it's on us to teach them to look elsewhere for a full picture and not let them be slaves.
