Out on ale last night which is rare these days for me , was meant to be taking my lad jack out to ferret a bank a couple miles from me but was rough so sacked that idea.. by midday the boredom had set in so decided to have a quick hour out with our new Jill that we’d got off a lad on here and my lurcher gwen .. I’d checked this place earlier in the week and dogs were marking up so netted what we could and left Gwen loose .. couple minutes later we had our first rabbit caught by lurcher.. then a massive rat flew out that didn’t make a yard from hole and a few minutes later another that6 points

A much easier time of year with the leaves missing. Full leaf suit tight up against the hedge line behind a none natural hide that I roofed over with more camo hessian and netting Range was 36 yards to 41 yards, the HW 100 KT .177 was faultless5 points

My boy got given a pair of these recently. One needs a new spring and the other was wedged with matches . I sorted one of them out this morning for him. Never seen him so bouncy about a toy before. Lego men criminals all set up up ready for execution , including Fred from scooby do (who apparently has been behind all the weird goings on in crystal cove ) Anybody on here remember these toy cannons?5 points

A sad story A couple of years ago, one night I was about to propose to my girlfriend when my room mate Joseph barged into the room out of nowhere, tripped and fell over, breaking a glass table with his face. It totally ruined the mood. I didn't know Joseph that well, don't even remember where he was from, but let's just say I put my plans on hold to help him through his injuries. Joseph had got a shard of glass in his eye, causing him serious injuries to that eye, and he was walking around with one of those cotton pads on his eye for a couple of months. Suddenly he disappe4 points

And there you have it, when you strip off the layers we are the most savage creature on this earth. When you see a human head opened up like a water melon you understand that it would have looked exactly the same a 100,000 years ago......it’s just the tools and the methodology that evolve.3 points

A recent example would be that bloke who shot Jo cox MP........now the easy to deal with response is “he is an odd mark....bit of a loner......social misfit blah blah” Easy, labelled and boxed.....let’s move on. But I look and think, what has made that bloke think that cold bloodedly murdering a young woman, wife and mother is the only option he has.......it’s the only way he can express what he feels to make anyone listen or he feels that people like that poor woman should be eradicated ? What are we missing that gets that bloke from ordinary chap to shooting young women in the3 points

Chris, I don’t agree with your last passage.......you put people in a position where they feel backed into a corner and they will do almost anything. If a population believes it needs to anialate another population to preserve themselves then they will do it by whatever means and in the most aggressive way possible. If mass killing and terror is the instrument then that’s what they will do.3 points

Lets not forget that we are Mammals. We may have a different form of intelligence from other animals but the bottom line is we are animals. Do you remember how you felt the first time you killed a fish or a rabbit? Now you can do it automatically with no emotion. All these barbaric men who commit the most heinous crimes can easily justify them. We are excuse making machines. We have excuses for everything in life. We haven't progressed over thousands of years let alone 100 years. The only difference with warfare today is that you don't have to look them in the eye as you murder them and hear3 points

There's nowt wrong with it - I just like calling it an Effin 12 instead of FN12 I've been playing around with zero distances and power levels lately - at the moment it's zeroed at 27yrds, just about right for a bit of woods whacking and, it's putting out JSB Exacts at 576fps The shots below were done before work this morning - 27yrds indoors - 5 rested and 10 standing. The zero could do with a tweek up and left but, I'm happy with how it's performing2 points

Hi guys, I wonder if anyone is interested how we make our Italian pork sausages ? I will duplicate some posts here that I put together in an Australian forum of my family producing our once a year small goods from a good sized pig half. The pics are interesting and it was a well received write up, so if anyone is interested and I have the correct section, I'll pop it up tomorrow, but warning, pic heavy and big post, so it may be done in a couple of posts.2 points

Fair comments, my friend, but we're kind of skirting around the whole rape as a military tactic that was brought into the Balkans conflict. I accept that terror and mass killings are part of a war. It's kind of a shitty situation where one group fights another and people die. Rape as a military tactic is just not acceptable at all, my friend, regardless of the perceived justification and perceived level of threat. That is a line that one has to cross. This is why the likes of Karadzic and Mladic are convicted of war crimes and the likes of Rommel and Gerstein are praised with acclaim. People d2 points

went for a walk on a little marsh local to me, I noticed this fox working its way towards me, I took some photo's then froze as it was getting closer and closer. I did not no this but there was a pheasant hiding in the grass between me and the fox, the fox new it was there and was working his way towards it... suddenly the pheasant broke cover it startled me and I fell into a ditch...lol when I got out the fox had gone. when I looked at the photo's I noticed its eyes, the fox looks really healthy so is surviving well...... do you think it is totally blind?.2 points

Never. I could never be manipulated into raping and torturing civilians. I sure as shit aren't going to swallow Goebbels-esque propaganda telling me that X needs to be eradicated from the earth through rape and torture. There are a lot of comparisons to the Einsatzgruppen appearing on this thread but they're failing to mention that even they couldn't do it all the time. There were many that did it willingly. There were also those that could only do under the influence of drugs and alcohol and still many more that couldn't pull the trigger at all when it came to shooting unarmed civilians. PTSD2 points

Watch DR Jordan Peterson talk on youtube about how easy it is to turn normal, happy, kind and gentle family men into animals. He explains how the nazi SS gently got their soldiers to commit the most disgusting acts within weeks! We are all very capable of doing this. Believe me.2 points
