  1. I,m still here when I can borrow my daughters internet, but my life worry’s have somewhat changed, it’s all about having enough water, wood and gas to keep us warm and fed, woke up to this today ( the roof is red ?) which was even more beautiful as I got the central heating on the boat working yesterday after 8/9 years since it last worked, was quoted 2k to fix it, so done it myself for £10 of parts and a couple of days of my time, also taking the dogs out for 2/3 good walks a day as I don’t have a garden now, so life is full and busy but still loving it?

  5. Good question, it changes daily!! Lol I think there is a virus the whole world dont lie. I think it affects the older and weaker more severely than the young and healthy I think we have a duty of care to protect everyone in our society, as they are your parents, your brothers and sister, your family, regardless if they are old or weaker than you. I have no idea on how that duty of care should look, whether the lockdowns are too severe, whether the vaccine works, im as blind as the next "average joe" and only speculating at best...shit stirring at worst. So would I hav

  7. I honestly thought you lived in Northern Ireland ! If you live in Eire, how does Boris, SAGE, or the UK affect you as far as Covid is concerned ? Surely the EU's response to Covid is more relevant to you ? Cheers.

  12. Not necessarily, how old is Paddy Doherty? He's been in hospital after it knocked him for six, quite a few around me have died younger than 65. Many people above 50 have got ailments, to me it seems luck of the draw. How many times have we seen old folk on the news recover in their 90's, and they have a stronger immune system than people over 30 years younger, doubtful. The group of lads who I'm currently working with said a fella from Carlisle died the other week at 38 and had no underlying health conditions, it was all over the local news. The odds are in your fa

  14. For forums that use the number of clicks to get advertisers to pay somebody like Max is gold dust. But, his influence also means that some people can't be arsed to go through all the arguing and petty posts and the bullshit that he seems to thrive in, so they go elsewhere. The question is whether the increased number of posts by Max outweigh those of the decent people who have stopped posting on here. Sooner or later it will reach a tipping point when there are too few constructive, helpful people on here and the forum will never regain its former self.

  17. There are 65,000,000 in this country 380 people under the age of 75 have died WITH covid that didn’t have any underlying issues. Over 400 people drown each year. So you are more likely to drown than to die of covid. The government and media have a done an amazing job of terrifying a whole nation and turning them into fukcing sheep.

  26. the question is, to have the jab or not. I`m 55, had flu twice (influenza, not just a bug, there is a difference) and I have the flu jab every year, I even pay for it rather than wait for my GP to decide if I should get it, a covid jab is something I will get even if it only gives me limited protection, any out there still refusing to think its a serious problem needs a swift kick in the balls, I generally agree that it is not the killer the media and government make it out to be but at my age, and with other problems I have I`d rather not risk it

  29. Not done as much as I'd of liked to have tbh... Still been doing bits and pieces... landed a few more farms, been busy on the moles, and that's opened up some digging and land to run the lurcher... Started shooting a catty last march, that's made our local walks more interesting.. Not had much luck locally on the rabbit front, the odd one or two a month?

  30. I’ve this young bitch she’s 19months old now it’s her first season she’s doing very well for me considering the lack of rabbits she’ll ferret/lamp/mooch for me I love her attitude to work she’s proving very handy I’m really happy with her.I’ve had a shit run with dogs the past 5-6yrs with 2 dieing then the mother crippled her self then the next young un wouldn’t pull anything other than rabbits so started again with a fresh pup The covid stuff hasn’t effected us getting out doing a bit tbh as we live rural we gained 2 new big bits of permissions so that lightened the covid situation up a bit

  32. Baker Boy asked you a simple, straightforward question, "where do you live, Eire or N.I." You gave a simple, straightforward answer, " Eire". If you live in Eire, the rules the UK government bring in will not affect you. If you live in Northern Ireland, the rules will affect you. No need to read between any lines. Cheers.

  34. I thought by your posts you must be a uk citizen. If your not, then the UK government can't have any bearing on wether you have the vaccine or not, that would be up to the EU or the Irish government, but you're blaming Boris. Dont get me wrong, I think he's been incompetent in all this, but if anyone is going to force you to have the vaccine, it won't be him, it will be the EU or the Irish government. SAGE advises the U.K. Government, I haven't a clue who advise the EU and the Irish government. Cheers.
