Al's Kitchen is good,...I do love curry and as you so rightly say, his 'base gravy ' recipe helps out a lot... Mind you, when you have tasted the street food, in various areas of the Middle East,.nothing really compares...? Just going for a bum burner now...really looking forward to it... It has been a traumatic year for me,.I nearly lost my Wife and best pal to Cancer, but Inshallah,..we have survived ... Been married, .45 years today; I would not have changed even one minute... All the best, Phil.13 points

I feel your pain fellah...? Some breeds are just, ...different...? However, I fared worse than you bonny lad,....back in the 1980s, I bred a hybrid that was, at the time, a bit of an unknown quantity,...and due to the good old Exchange and Mart, becoming spooked and consequently refusing to take my advert for lurchers pups, I ended up with eight, fecking crazy, Cattle dog x Greyhound dog pups, and their equally manic twin sisters... By the time an advert came out, enabling me to move on the feckers and wean myself off the Valium tabs,.the pups were 4 months old, proper mini-mo6 points

Just got the new nv008lrf and was itching to get out and use it. Checked the weather and managed to go for a couple hours before the rain came. A quick zero, which is very easy on these units and away I went. Very Impressed with this nv to the point I had to stop shooting rabbits so I could carry them back to my motor. Heavy as fek ? anyway ended up with 24 rabbits which is not bad for first outing with this nv.5 points

going by the pictures the pup does not look itchy or red in any way, I suspect a deficiency of some kind and perhaps a simple fix.5 points

These are the only 2 pics I seen on the whole topic of getting dogs fit... fcuk all this I trot mine behind a bike x amount of miles bullshit...get them out and get them slipped.. the only thing properly to get your lurchers fit is to have it regularly up quarrys arse ready to lift.4 points

If there are no signs of mange mites, burrowing under the skin, causing bleeds and pustules, etc,...there is no point in trying to eradicate a parasite that is not on the host... It is best to consider, a radical change in diet, and possibly,..a temporary (or maybe, a permanent) change in the pup's location.? Things are far easier in the warm summer months,...you can get a jukel with skin ailments, out onto the sea, and also offer copious amounts of raw tripe and beef mince, with plenty of oily fish. Sometimes, you need to experiment and find, THE food, that suits the wee critter..4 points

Nice one mark, I bought my cocker pup about 10 weeks ago, shes's really clever, after just 2 weeks she let us know when she needed to go outside, she's retrieving ball and dummy back to hand, not been out of the house or garden yet but will start walking her in the fields with livestock this week and get her used to things, she's 20 week old now, looking forward to starting all this now, she's got a great nose, finds dummy where ever i put it.4 points

I’m possibly a bit soft, but isn’t it a bit early to consider culling? Maybe the condition might get the correct diagnosis and be treated successfully.4 points

Went out local for a few hours tonight, my mate was busy so went on my own, took my new primo stick and the pard 007, the pard is great and with the primos even better, after a few hours i ended up with 4 rabbits, so much easier with the sticks3 points

Dubois is being brought along perfect in my opinion Martin and Tony have been around the game years and know their fighters inside out,Daniels quite a shy timid kind of lad which i think works in his favour as his feet are well and truly on the ground,he listens well,is improving physically and mentally all the time id love to see the gym have a world heavyweight champion....whether he is a good enough decision maker to win a complicated tricky fight at this moment im not sure....but he certainly has all the tools to give himself the best chance.3 points

-I have never liked the human race much. You get occasional acts of heroism but mostly just greed, selfishness, hypocrisy treachery, jealousy and pomposity. We like to think we are so special, above all the other animals, but we are far below most of them. I hope that's cheered you all up folks. You disgusting b*****ds.3 points

Actually you have highlighted the problem here and that is the shocking use of half truths and pseudoscience being claimed as proper science by the climate activists and so called scientists. THIS ISN'T SCIENCE! and its setting a dangerous premise for our future in science and as wilf rightly says it will effectively put us back decades in dealing with REAL problems we are ignoring the elephant in the room and that is the climate is going to change and we are not the cause it's out of our hands and instead of trying to stop it we should be putting plans in place to deal with it ...I'm going3 points

My secondary education came to an abrupt end way before the leaving age. I had a 'difference of opinion' with the school. I know my intellectual limitations. If the majority of top scientists the world over tell me that the earth is round, that we evolved from apes, that smoking causes lung cancer, that being too fat heightens your risk of heart disease, that a nuclear bomb could devastate the world and that we are destroying the planet with greenhouse emissions. I believe them! What special qualification does Joe Public have to challenge these views? Just arrogance or stupidity or both.3 points

One thing that can’t be denied, we are f***ing trashing the gaff......and eventually there will be a day of reckoning because nature will always put itself right. We are living worse than animals on a range of different levels and stupid pantomime performances like this young girls distract from the seriousness and reality of what’s going on. We should be talking about the big issues but instead we are talking about how these climate change idiots turn it all into a nonsense that people then laugh at.3 points

I was going to try a couple of boxes but me mate at the shop said he's not going to stock them until there tried and tested, he mentioned something about the crimping not being the best and a few other things but I'll not go into that! so he gave me a box of these to try on the pigeons and crows, not cheap but he'd sort me a good price if I wanted some and its more of a test drive! im not a fan of leaving plastic all over the countryside so I use fibre any way.. I did a few tests last year as to shooting plastic over fibre and came to the conclusion that fibres better3 points

For me; I will immerse myself anywhere I go... (when in Rome). Food, culture, people etc. Don't enjoy all of it but I will say... People are funny fuucks who can and will surprise you with their hospitality, food and down right humanity. I've been saved a few times for water here in the mountains and been offered to stay for food, wine and the night. I went to Croatia last year and ended up at the family feast of a stranger before the wedding.. if you are open, so are most people too3 points

How did bigotry get in the way dmd? I’ve catholic mates that voted leave and they mean with no deal as they’re sick of being 2 down from foreigners and are sick of paying tax to keep freeloaders from the 3rd world in great comfort when ever they struggled they got no help, bigotry has nothing to do with it, it was a uk wide vote and he’ll of a lot of us northern Irish votes leave for obvious reasons. It was the shinners that tried the united ireland by the back door. Northern Ireland is part of the uk whether some like it or not2 points

The hunting in Ireland is going like England , another few years and the game will be up. fools f***ing it up and landowners getting less willing to allow lads into the land due to insurance and messers running stock threw fences at night and shite like that. Everyone has to take a picture or a video of what their doing up on social media these days , there's far to much public awareness and heat now and farmers just don’t want the hassle.2 points
