  1. 3500ft above sea level, nearest road (and my truck) is a testing three hour trek away. But when you reach those remote areas it’s a different world a real sense of being alone in the wild. It’s good for the soul ?

  3. Having put dogs to the forefront & basically lost everything & everyone i cared about i'd take the advice Katchum offered bud, life's too short for regrets, this is no rehearsal for life, time lost to the missus & kids can never be got back,do what's right for you & your family first & foremost,i'm speaking from personal experience here too,get the dog into a good home & crack on with family life just now,it's the right & proper thing to do for all concerned..all the best to you

  4. Put the baby in a warm buggy or back carrying thing and go for a walk without the missus give her some alone time to relax and you to bond with the kid and excercise bernard.do things that include the baby and dog.just playing and things like that.however when it comes to parenting, relationship and dog advice i should be the last person to ask.

  7. On a healthy note. I'm ok. However, the future son in law came round and mentioned he was partial to chillis. Gave him half of a ghost naga which he nonchentally chewed before, within seconds, his world exploded. Milk was no help as it took over his functions which to be fair gave us a bit of a howl. Poor lad was in bits for quite a while. He, appparantley, has put it on Facebook not to come any where near my kitchen. Jok.

Having not been on the forum since dinosaurs last walked the earth i thought I'd drop by & shout hello ☺ ..hope everyone is doing ok,the running dogs are all healthy & prepared for their winter campaigns, fingers crossed you all have enough game on the ground to keep your dog's active over the forthcoming months..I've still got Boots who will be 6 years old in a fortnight but he unfortunately suffered a horrendous injury which seen him unable to put his leg on the ground for 9 months which put a damper on last season but he's looking grand just now,I'm pretty certain he will breakdown

  12. Me and Ian went out local again today and rather than stick with the rapids for the day Ian brought a couple of shotguns with him I shot 2 bandits and a rat with the rapid with Ian dropping a wòody from 3/4way up a pylon with his rapid .we left 1st farm and ten min drive to another and we noticed a lot of crows on a newly drilled field so we set a hide up between 2 large trailers and stuck a few crow decoys out and the fun began with the shotguns a few ferals showed up and we stuck one on a flapper and it worked a treat . Our rule of thumb is to use the rapids if anything lands among the dec

  17. Clenelo does not have the calm/confident demeanour he had for the first fight, maybe he's realising that he's not on the juice for this bout and self doubt is already kicking in at the back of his mind. Clenelo's actions at the weigh in are not those of a confident fighter,he could not even look GGG in the eyes. GGG cool as you like to win by mid-late stoppage. GGG can not afford to leave the decision to the judges and he also needs to wrap his hands exactly the same way as Clenelo does . If he can GGG needs to make a statement tonight in this fight and to be fair he looks a lot more focused th

As for food I don't feed them rabbit, but they do get meat. I feed 10 or 12 grams of meat in the morning when i put them in a run on the lawn and the same again in the evening before they go back in their hutch. In the hutch I have a bowl of Alpha or Wellbeloved to eat what they want. I don't have to worry about meat stored in the nest box. When I was a young'en we fed bread and milk as oth

  19. I’m 53 and have been reading and following this nearly all my adult life . The deer used to jump the fences and the farms next to Baronsdown used to just shoot them . While the hunt was moveing them they could put up with a bit of damage. But because they caused so much damage to the next door farms the landowners had no choice . I’m afraid it’s a failed ideology, a fluffy , cuddly bunny , view of nature from those who have been brought up on Disney films . They are so arrogant, with an inflated view of themselves. They honestly think that the people who have farmed and hunted the land for g

  28. Can’t believe he agreed to another fight in Vegas after last time but hope he gives him a right paggering . Canelo seems to be one of those fighters you have to knock out to get a draw . It’s not just canelo and his dodgy hand wraps and roids, he’s up against the Nevada state commission who let him and golden boy get away with it and the dodgy judges aswell .

  29. So Falcon, great choice of rifle there . In fact, " The Best" at sub 12 level in my opinion. You do realize your a Twat, don`t you ? Oh yes, - we have an ongoing club on the THL that any member, that buys a HW 100, in any format, becomes a member of " The Twat club" Happy membership - " You Twat" ! Enjoy mate, lovely gun to own. ( it`ll be well looked after coming from Mitch, )

  30. They just want to pass the "assumption" onto the doctors. Last year I refused to pay my doctor for a report. I visited him and said that I am meeting my legal requirements so he didn't send a report. Licence renewed as per normal. Just how can a general practitioner tell who is going to be a nutter or not? Besides, would it not be better for the public's general safety if they chopped thieves hands off, branded peodos on the forehead, executed drug dealers, put louts in stocks for a day and supplied schools with hazel wands?
