After two days stuck indoors with the grandbabys it was nice to get out on my own this morning for some fresh air and p and q, had a wander round the canal junction and along the frome and it’s tributaries saw a kingfisher that always brightens the journey but just nice to be out without the rain though the ground is still soaking oh and a few thorn blossoms no foliage ??7 points

It seems High up In politics and power the ratio of pedophiles is much higher than the general public ( I may be wrong on that it's just the way it seems to me ) What I don't get is why it would be so prolific with them . What is it about them , their upbringing etc that makes them more likely to be like that I've always assumed that people's sexual orientation is generally a born attribute that they have no real control over . I know sons of farmers who were brought up around welsh farms and farming community who are gay so they had no outside factors pushing them in that directio6 points

After a fair few years without a running dog in my kennels, I’ve recently picked this lad up. Pumping the grub into him as he was a bit too lean for my liking when I picked him up and he’s growing like a weed. 14 weeks old, 18tts. Wheaten/Bull/Grey x Saluki/grey5 points

You said they couldn’t defeat Iraq. The Coalition , led by the US, slaughtered them. I could see the effects of “shock and awe” from 100 miles away. Their armoured columns were completely destroyed as they turned tail and ran for home, their air defences were useless and their airforces destroyed on the ground. Their Scud missiles were ineffective. I think it’s fair to say they were defeated ! Cheers.5 points

Random and I don’t tell people this story often as it easily lends to derision but I’m sure I’ve wrote this on here before . about a decade ago , whilst in the midst of a three peaks challenge , I was driving a 9 seater van in north wales late at night . I was wide awake , fuelled by coffee , and in true air gun forum parlance “ the night was misty but somehow warm “ as we headed down the twisty turny back roads towards mt snowdon . My troop commander was sat beside me , chatting away and as I turned the corner , a huge black dog as stood in the middle of the road , honestly ,5 points

I believe we would have still been a member of the EU if that's all we would have allowed it to be a trading agreement . When freedom of movement came into play and thousands came here with their families to areas were the infrastructure was not adequate for thousands more people putting public services under pressure it was imho inevitable that people in these area's would vote for Brexit. I wish someone could tell me the benefit to our country the Roma Slovaks have brought with them if any one thinks they are a benefit to the country I suggest they take a trip to Page Hall in Sheffield or Ea5 points

I wouldn't be surprised if there isn't the odd one secreted in the fortress-like homes of a certain class of rich people. A couple of cubs wouldn't be much of a challenge to be had via the same routes that bring guns, drugs ,illicit fortunes and even people into the country. Over 20 years ago an unknown billionaire of rumoured "East European" heritage bought a run down local estate. Not much was seen to done to the big house and rumours of Russian money laundering(only local supposition to be fair) were muttered. A fair number of interesting animals appeared in the grounds tho5 points

I always used to pick up bits of bark and old logs for the birds to peck over and occupied birds with something to do cause a lot less hassle than bored birds do at nesting time as well. As for my lad (iv'e been his old man for 19 years so class him as my own) if he stays alive and out of harms way job done and as long as he don't ruin his life like i did with drugs then again job done and that's all that matters to me mate..4 points

I've kept game/ fishing logs since my teens. The early ones are just exercise books- up in the loft somewhere. Admittedly some things didn't go in there either because of life getting in way or they were "inappropriate" for some reason. Some entries are brief - " Shot like a blind idiot today", " One bite, caught a stick ,went home. Got wet." Others are pretty detailed. Though my rubbish handwriting and illuminated margins will limit their value as family heirlooms ?3 points

There's a lot of information available to everyone nowadays - I don't think people are reluctant to hear from experts, I think they don't want to hear experts personal opinions. People want to be given facts and, left to make up their own minds.3 points

I also remember our disgraced former MP for Rotherham who i now see often on GB News who was a big fan of the EU and at one time when labour were in power wanted us to change over to the euro . This odious little man and ex convict was another reason i voted for Brexit as everything he supported was not for the betterment of the working class of Rotherham and was more like to keep him on the gravy train like a lot of MPs who wanted us to remain in the EU.3 points

It's true that mate you think the younger generation would see what's happened over the past years to good men life's ruined through drink and drugs. But they don't do they some , they seem to think it's a game. I wish I'd of listen to my grandfather many years ago when he told me about the fools I was hanging round with and would ruin my job as a baker. But when were young we know best ( yeah right ) A knew f**k all.. Only thing a knew was how to f**k my life up. ? ?. Smoking dope , pills , wiz , acid , mushrooms. Now a don't drink an don't smoke weed. A see alot of my pals who've lost the p3 points

I’ve never kept records, it’s only over recent years I’ve started taking photos, I could take a guess at somewhere around 800 foxes and a 100 or so roe ( deer are not my thing ) I couldn’t even guess at rabbits it’s well in the 1000’s my good mate mosh has detailed records from when we ran dogs, everything from rabbits, hares, deer, foxes, dates, weather conditions, where it was, how long the run, what dog/dogs, they are really interesting to read through, they tell a story of how things have changed in a relatively short time3 points

Found This think it was dried Marigold petals that my mate was on about. Cheers Arry "The commercial guys when they want a darker yolk, they use marigold petals, the powder from it. You can also use dehydrated alfalfa if you don’t want to go that route because you’re getting the dry foliage that still has the pigments in it," says Jacob. "So, typically a diet high in dehydrated alfalfa will give you darker yolks." You can also give your chickens treats that are high in xanthophyll, such as carrots, apricots, pumpkins, red cabbage, and the leaves of most green plants.2 points
