Asked my buddy when where gonna run dogs again and he said it might be another month due to the weather. Been too warm for this time of the year so all the scaly critters ( snakes and gators in some places) that don't like dogs are still out and about . The thing that singles people like greb and Max out from the rest is that they both attack the other party with insults when they cannot defeat their argument. Got to say I disagree with both of those generalisations, and I will explain why. When I walk my dog he wears a thick hide collar with a heavy duty brass loop and buckle, the lead is also thick hide with a heavy duty brass clip. When I bought these I also bought a harness made from the same materials. The harness was bought as a safety feature for when I transported the dog to various woods and open spaces. I will also say, there is an edit button….it is possible to reflect on things you have written and go back and get rid of them with a simple “I had a think about it and I didn’t feel comfortable” None of this stuff is that hard, you don’t get demoted or anything for being a bit humble sometimes

I like learning old skills honestly. Been building all sorts of nets for a while now , started when I was like 13 and I'm 24 now and I build hoops ,gill , and wire nets mainly for my own fun but like trying to learn other stuff. Honestly stared by learning how but make purse nets from a few UK guys back when I first discovered you tube. Just wire nets I put together from time to time The math becomes a pain at times but there something magical about it I absolutely love. I agree, also I'm not from your part of the world however I can confirm that rabbits can recover from RHD but as already stated, but it takes time. How long that might take depends on a lot of different factors. It makes good common sense, if you want to hunt and get healthy bags then they will need time to breed up, this will have to be managed well ,it's not the time to have greedy people take what's left after RHD has laid low the population. Getting that information and message out there, is important and the key to having some great sport for all to enjoy going forward.

Our kid was sweeping someone's chimney when he noticed they had a rather unusual poker for the fire. Turns out to be a french bayonet. 1868 is inscribed on it....along with some writing, presumably in French but we can't make it out as yet. I believe the foreign legion were in Mexico during that period, including their most famous battle at camerone. So perhaps the writing is Spanish? I've suggested we try and trace the writing to make it clearer but the old fashioned inscribed writing is making it difficult

Well it was our first day today and it lashed down all morning and early afternoon. There where some really cracking birds considering it is the first stir up. We finished on 52 head comprising of 30 duck, 7 partridge, 1 teal and 14 pheasants. I happened to get a good peg on the first drive and the next to last drive. My own contribution was 6 duck, 8 pheasant and a partridge.
