I've really gone off guns but the lad had been asking so planned a bit of a day. Took him to the gun shop to trade my silenced .410 for an unsilenced one for as he was struggling to aim around the silencer. They only had expensive ones in. Even the little single barrel we choose was brand new and more than I wanted to pay. The lad then declared he was still wearing his slippers as he had forgot to put his wellies on ?. Another £40 down for new wellies as it was half an hour home and we were already late. £6 a box for .410 cartridges and we walked out kitted up but 200 notes down! Anyway10 points

I don't get emotional often, but when I heard the old lady had passed I felt a tear in my eye and a sense of loss, enjoy your evening charts ?6 points

Remember when the Germans and japs were our enemies ? Now they're our friends. Remember when the Russians and Chinese were our friends ? Now they're our enemies. We fought, literally, hundred year wars with the likes of Holland and Spain. Now our friends. Or what about the yanks, the French ? Been to war against them both together and separately! Funny old thing this geopolitics . ? Cheers.6 points

We have wild boar in Gloucestershire. A mate gave me this huge one as the game dealer only likes the smaller ones . I got it made into bacon and sausage. The smoked back bacon was the best I’ve ever tasted .5 points

She seemed a genuinely nice person but wasn't much of a talker much like her father and mother. A King would not of gotten away with merely ticking the boxes as a monarch he would of had to prove his worth. If you want a job done, put a woman in charge. Their more naturally submissive and less likely to challenge or question their role, meanwhile the country falls apart by all recognition over the last 70years with the EU taking control of farming, fishing, the economy is being dismantled right in front of our eyes, not to mention the countryside issues of hunting and other traditional as5 points

Much loved lady the world over, I saw people in tears this morning, massive crowds outside the palace, but you could sense it was an occasion when history was changing, as you say..... End of an era.4 points

Got between 20-25 traps out at any one time, mix of fenn, body grip & black cats. Autumn & winter I bring most Into the yard & Concentrate on rats. Come spring I'll have most of them in hedge bottoms, dykes, fence lines etc & do alright on weasels then too (obviously I've hung a little sign on each tunnel entrance saying "️ stoats"!! ) Along with 3 larsen traps, I love spring time trapping.4 points

Was at the gas station earlier yesterday, walked out with some grocery and this dog walked up. Was really friendly had a bandanna tied around his neck ,nails trimmed , collar ect. But the poor thing looked like it hadn't had a fit meal in two weeks. Figured he had jumped off of one of the cattleman's trucks and got lost or something. Not uncommon around here at all. Had a copper plate on this collar so tried calling the number no luck , phone says the number is from a town about an hour away where I work . Found someone on FB and sent a message .So I load him up in the car and figure I'll tak4 points

Just a different take on it, I prefer to stand where you think the rabbit will head and slip the dog, that way the dog will get more chances and hopefully you won't just end up lighting up the rabbits path home ??4 points

I like the idea of going off grid for a week and eating only what we catch....unfortunately I think we both might resort to eating grass if previous success is anything to go by ?4 points

?? We complain that the history and fabric of our country is disappearing before our eyes, then complain about an imaginary cost for the funeral of the true person that attaches us all to that history... I'm not a royalist (at least i never thought I was)... but this is the very thing that sets our nation apart... I'm a quiet nationalist I guess....3 points

Very similar to my point of view. Harry spent alot of time with hunt terrier men during his troubled years. Not one of the hunt staff or farmers betrayed his trust or went to the papers. And now we need help, both in the countryside and as an English nation, we have nothing in return....he wouldn't be seen supporting us in anyway. Same goes for the rest of the monarchy. I could say more but now's not the time.3 points

It makes no difference. Do you think "hey, the queen has died, so it will take £10 out your wages or benefits " or " hey Charles is king now and it will put a penny on your taxes" ? Of course not. The pomp and ceremony, the soldiers marching and bands playing is all factored in. The soldiers, politicians , officials all get paid wether the queen dies or not. All the cannons firing, bands marching etc is already accounted for. Just let us bury our queen, wether you like it or not, it's the end of an era, And as as I've said many times...I'm not a royalist. ?3 points

O boy if you can't think of anything more exciting then that then there's alot of suprised for ya over here lol. Would love to see if y'all's faces over here on a hog hunt with a dozen bay dogs and some Cane Corso catch dogs. Get in some of this this stuff with all those bay dongs on a corned 400lbs boar and that catch dogs dragging you ( literally) to get a bite in. Seriously watching them catch dogs do their job on a hog is like seeing a damn car wreck3 points

Eubank is too big I think, I think its a bad fight for Benn.... he's looking better every fight and is in probably the most competitive division at the minute, not sure what Benn gains from this fight to be honest.. Would like Benn to win, but think Eubanks size will be too much for him3 points

I think even the most ardent royalist would find that hard to argue against. I have felt genuinely gutted at the passing or the queen, like I did about the passing of Phillip but I have to agree with what you have written there. Would a king or queen operating in a constitutional monarchy be able to do much against the people that the people themselves elect ?….I don’t think so, but to stay silent you have to say is unforgivable with hindsight.3 points

There are all sorts of medical reasons the dog might be underweight ,but trust your own judgement ,and if after seeing the dog ,the owner ,the home and having hands on the dog you think it's neglect ,go back and take it ,fuk em.. If you get nicked tell them Chartpolski said you could .3 points

That wasn’t meant to be quoted In that post . i think it’s shows the decorum and social intelligence of the woman that despite that loss , which was horrendous , she accepted the political will of a delicate situation . Add in the fact that she also laid a poppy wreath at the Irish war memorial alongside the Taoiseach shows that she embraced the need to move forward in proper fashion .3 points
