  1. Or there abouts. 6:30 to 3pm. My body hurts! Took my 10g out for a good ole' walk starting with fox calling at first light. Nothing showed. I know one is about but I just can't seem to find the little rascal! Anyway settled into some bird hunting. There are way more woodcock this year and I got one. Seen seven today. Next up was a hen bird. Then on the way home I got two more cock birds. Absolutely jiggered. Game bag had three pheasants in it and a woodcock. Jess worked hard. She had a rince and food. The gun can wait, I'm getting a bath. Zzzzzz

  2. Lewis Hamilton was interviewed on tv today ahead of the Saudi Gran Prix. He slagged the Saudi regime for their treatment of homosexual's, but he's still taking part. He will wear a rainbow coloured helmet to show his support of gays ! That'll teach the Saudis , eh ? Now it's being reported that his team are being sponsored by Kingspan, the company responsible for the flammable cladding on Grenfell Tower. He will wear coveralls and race in a car emblazoned with their name......... Hipocritical little shitweasle. Cheers.

  6. Interesting hunt last night ........ Arrived at farm at around 9.30pm and set up caller in field adjacent some scrubby woodland. Started playing hare call but no response so switched to vixen mating call ....................immediately I had a fox screaming in to the caller , stopped it around 20 yards from the caller and had a nice dog fox grassed ?? I picked up the fox and caller and was heading out of the field but when I got to the gate I had a casual look back like I always do and to my surprise there was another fox . Now this one wouldn't call and seemed content just to sit so I p

  30. We used to double up young up an coming Fox dogs back in the day as we always liked them experienced with a grandmaster because the grandmaster knew what it was doing how to run them an how to catch them and kill fast the grandmaster always offered a young dog vital experience it needed there would be a couple of catches double up then they were on there own to see how they done the end result is still the same what ever way you look at it they can either do it or they can’t it’s just lurcher politics that separates right from the wrong way of doing things even though technically there’s no ri

  32. As Mr Green says it could as easily have been lost on a deer or something as it could have been dumped. Might be it jacked, or might be it’s nicked and wouldn’t get back in the motor or whatever. I try and get to them before they get shot or taken to the rspca. Generally scan them for a chip, see if they are stolen, and either way get them back to their owner if they’ve been looked after. If we can’t find an owner usually try to get them right and then find a home for them, either working or pets. I just had a dog KIA so if this one ends up without a home and is half decent it m
