Were trying with him D, but like all loud guns full of talking come there is a point where getting over excited about being with grown up's can push the boundries a tad. This is unseen by the over excited pupil but makes most folk who have a bit about them lets say wince some what, but we won't give up on him and who knows in time once the virus has done it's thing we can all meet up and have a THL school reunion and we'll all have a chuckle about the mmmm moments......4 points

Well first day over and the last for at least 5 weeks, we were light on beaters and guns today as it was a last minute thing but we made the best of it. It was a bit different with the social distancing and no stopping at 11, but it didn’t put to much of a dampener on things, the drive before lunch produced some lovely birds with my sheep farmer mate Mosh in the thick of it, bagging himself 10 birds on that drive, he was in the action on the last drive of the day, taking another 8, I didn’t think they would fly very well today with no wind but they did fly well for most of the drives, I had a4 points

Id take a proven field worker as a stud any day ,pity the pure bred dog world has gone half mad ,only yesterday i saw a add for JR puppies stating " these pups are not working dogs just pets & great for cuddles on the sofa .....WTF ....these breeders should be shot with a ball of their own shit..... along with bloody show dog breeders ....3 points

I've got a 22lr it's zeroed at 60 mtrs so tend not give it much hold over unless I know I'm pushing it further, same with my 17hmr, that is zeroed @ 100 mtrs, again very rare I have to use hold over or under. The air rifle will be getting zeroed @25mtrs and I'm going to be making a chart so I know my hold over and under mil dots. The range finder will come in useful for this. I'll let you know how it goes once I get it zeroed3 points

I run with mine 5 to 10 miles couple of times a week, like to make sure at least 1/2 is free running on beach, dunes etc. Keeps us all a bit fitter and great for cleaning feet etc the day after lamping.3 points

I have got it trued up now. I know I shouldn't have to but I knew what to do and being use to fixing stuff just got on with it. Casually rested it's running 1" groups at 100 . Time is needed now to let it prove itself or otherwise. It shoots great off hand which is important to me.2 points

They haven't defined "short journey" so the onus is on them to do so. As that would involve a court case and them having to spend lots of dosh they don't have, i am reasonably confident you won't get challenged on it.2 points

This is what it actually is, it’s called a Leeds and Liverpool short boat originally used to transport goods, but instead of a cargo hold its got accommodation, this one was made for somebody in 1995 and is one of only one in existence, which is why I didn’t want to shout to much about it, as it is probably worth quite a bit more than I paid for it, unlike a normal narrow boat it’s also capable of coastal travel and would get across the channel to France without to much difficulty, it has an enormous engine and tanks for fuel and water, will get it kitted out with solar panels over the next co2 points

I think it’s worked out just fine.. they proved that they weren’t capable of looking after a ferret and did the decent thing by contacting you ( instead of dumping it in the nearest hedge) and you got a cracking ferret back . Perfect !.2 points
