We've just raised a litter here out of my Patxspringer bitch, put my wife's old whippetxrussell dog over her and she had 8 pups. All were spoken for by friends straight away but we kept two back. I'm really looking forward to bringing them on over the summer11 points

Don’t take this the wrong way mate, but sit down and read through your post. The world has enough folk already breeding and peddling dogs.11 points

It worked, but the lamb was way over cooked for my liking. I’m inconsolable with a bit of overcooked meat, much to my wife’s amusement ?.....so the answer is a bigger joint or much less time underground. The sweet potato & onion were nice & smokey, but they weren’t wrapped. Strangely enough a couple of potato’s were under done after 8 hours! So things weren’t particularly even down there & I forgot to unwrap the red pepper with all the excitement ? Would I do it again? Yes.....with some good company round for a bit of theatre & fun.....7 points

The day started off good with a breakfast of champions avocado on a bed of aromatic salad with a nice poached egg. Then this afternoon a little BBQ for me and the wife waiting for the big one tomorrow I’ve got a nice bit of brisket covered in a home made rub waiting to go in my smoker. Loving the good weather while it lasts.7 points

I owned a Beddy/whippet bitch,about21",a few decades ago now.I paid about £20 for it at 14 months of age and the lad was sick of it because it chased hard and would not strike.I spent a few months getting used to the bitch, building up its confidence with a few drops and getting it out with the ferrets and run after run after run.Eventually the dogs feet and brains came together and it had a very useful first season on the rabbits and picked up a bit of feather. The bitch was fleet footed, quick to learn and in its second season was becoming a decent mutt around the warrens with the ferrets and w6 points

Ok chimichanga prepped, pulled pork, pulled chicken with grated cheddar and motsarella cheese with a block of cheddar cheese on top ( use whatever cheeses you like ) it’s important to fold them without leaving gaps because during the frying process you want to heat and melt the cheese and crisp the outside up without to much fat getting inside, part three to follow unless they are so nice I get carried away and eat them before I get a picture6 points

Kanny mate I never put an egg in boiling water I use an old fashioned egg poacher the plastic egg holders I heavily grease with butter then drop my eggs in and then I put the water in the bottom not too much as you don’t want it to boil over onto the eggs then I gently simmer not to fast as they go hard and then they have to pass my wobble test a little shake and I know they are ready then they just fall out as you see them in the pics, my sons have been trying to beat me at making them like this for years but there dad still kicks there arses lol...4 points

nice pups cash and I like the old dog, my first bitch was beddy lurcher cross pure saluki ( 1969 ) great bitch, her father ( flash ) went to several lurchers with deerhound in them, they made some very good dogs, what is often not realised is most of those early saluki blooded coursing dogs were bred from ordinary lurchers, and as consequence several coat types crop up, old flash also went to greyhounds and produced some good first crosses, he went to one pure bitch, bred from Iraqi imported grand parents.4 points

I think the term psycho means different things to different people....to most of us its a person you avoid at any cost.....but make no mistake in certain communities and areas of life its almost a term of endearment, how many little street kids will say " dont f**k with him he,s a psycho ".....some people even named their dogs Psycho for crying out loud !! Like most things terms and phrases get twisted to the point where the true meaning is lost......i spent a bit of time as a youngster around a chap with genuine psychotic tendencies and believe me it was no fun at all.4 points

Although my gaffer has just bough £70k worth of brand spanking telehandler for me to use; never been so nervous moving sheep!! It's even got a radio! Listening to the singer everyone likes to dunk in their brew.... Lionel Richtea!! ? Stay safe all my mates!4 points

Trust me to come to the party late but l knew l had a picture of Ravioli/ Clarissa somewhere but have only just found it. She looks pretty healthy in the Zoo l recall from reading other articles her weight settled at 8-10lb under the record. Probably nothing to do with stress more likely she and the other fish on the tank were on a controlled diet balenced between keeping them healthy and not fouling the water to keep it clear. Also l expect the water in the tank was aerated and therefore moving so she would have been more active and used more energy than in4 points

The vast majority of the post on this thread have been either aggressive or pretty morbidly depressing. I've been out to Tesco doing the shopping and out on the land , road and footpaths and yes there are more people out walking, a lot that I have never seen but but everyone has been thoughtful about distance even holding back at styles and gates and mind fully putting up a hand of hello from people that I don't know. At the supermarket there was no agro and it was like a conga conveyor belt of people. The only stupid thing that I have seen is the bloke taking his young son to see his gr4 points

Well chimichanga complete nice enough but found it a bit greasy due to the deep frying and the cheese juice from within, won’t right it off but would do it next time under the grill or a flat iron as your only really cooking it to melt the cheese inside3 points

When I’m working around my mates farm I often use the reach truck for loading the trailer, my mates old fella has always had manitou’s and I’m sure he buys them just so when I’m using it he can say “ I’ve been told you like a man a too” before walking off laughing to himself ?3 points

My keeping hasn’t been affected thank goodness and all the guns are paying their subs and the poults are ordered. My wife and I foster children , we’ve been doing it for 5 or six years now . It takes about a year from when you first apply to getting approved, so it’s not going to help immediately but since we started we have never had to worry about money. We didn’t get into it for financial consideration but more because my wife loves kids , but I’ve been shocked at the amount of money councils pay you . If you have one child under say 5 it’s nearly £1,400 a month a sibling group of 2 double3 points

Well I’ve rapped in, I told them they are taking the piss and I’m not willing to work for less than 300 quid a week, the gaffer said I would have to give written notice and have to work 4 weeks, I was about to tell him to get f*cked when my missus rang and said she would do my notice for me, it’s a lot better than if it had come out of my mouth, after my boss passed it on to the director he came to see me, he said he completely understands why I’m going and he will accept my resignation, I was just about to say “I wasn’t asking for your f*cking permission you tw*t” when he said to me there wou3 points
