Show me another terrier that offers as much as a Bedlington, any terrier, any shape, any colour or any jacket. The facts are that the Bedlington hybrid lurcher gained the recognition it hard earnt because of its prowess in the field, its reputation as an hunting lurcher overshadows any other terrier hybrid lurcher and thats a fact.Another fact is the majority of Bedlingtons used in lurcher production are shite, hybid vigour as an honest way of making up for the piss poor breeding.Throw a decent beddy into the mix, test them hard and regular, breed best to best then no other terrier infused lurcher wil6 points

Did some decoying today, no not squirrels, other stuff, between the rains. Spent the afternoon with my Mrs and G'daughter and then popped out to walk a slang of beeches. 7 down to the 410. I used some Hull game and clay #6 11g loads and they are quite punchy with a corresponding report despite the moderator. Not enough to really disturb the next target, they must think it's in the distance! Fun is a .410 ?5 points

Alright Tomo this is the bitch I kept back from the Paddy mating, I put him over that Kelpie Cross you sourced for me many moons ago ? she’s a corker, a little slow to mature but it’s all coming together now.5 points

Went out last night with my mate to try out the pard nv i got and the nv spotter from a lad on here, my mate was spotting and me shooting tonight with my hw100 with bisley mags, (cant believe how good they both are for the money) first time on this land with nv normally use gun lamp the very few times iv been at night, anyway we seen loads of rabbits, 2 badgers that were quite close and about 10 deer, watched the badgers for about 10 mins trotting around and digging for grub, i ended up getting 10 rabbits (2 lost) all between about 15 and 50 mtrs, both these nv's are great for the money, looki5 points

I love this time of year for sub 12 air rifle hunting. A little vigilance and that little bit more movement can be seen in the woodland canopy and undergrowth. All that training, practice on target work pays you back. The headshot is the usual presentation this time of year. The HW 100 KT .177 is in use this time out. atb. Mark.4 points

My Mrs wouldn’t allow such an outrage the gravy is the same gravy that is inside the pudding a reduced red wine gravy attention to detail is her forte. ?4 points

Mrs found a dead stoat when out walking so I went back and picked it up. I had seen a picture I liked of a stoat on a rock in an alert pose licking it's chops and had the idea of a bookend for Welsh dresser in kitchen. Sent the pic to Rob58 and explained my idea, he has hit it perfectly again. This is the 3rd piece I've had from Rob and each one has been bang on what I had in my head. True artist. Thanks pal.3 points

Out Friday morning and this afternoon but cover way too high and thick still but it’s all good fitness. This week looks good for a bit of lamping if the rain keeps coming and ground softens up3 points

I worked in a bacon factory on the butchery line when the building trade collapsed at the start of the 90's... it put me off bacon sandwiches for about 10 mins I like me cigs and a beer but I recon it'll be the side affect of too much bacon that puts me in me box3 points

Nothing better, than when you click off your dazzler, to hear your dog coming back in, nice and steady, bringing home the bacon. Retrieving, by night, or during the day, is an entirely personal attribute, some dogs do it naturally, others do not, and sadly, some never will. After all the care that you have given a young dog, up until this time,...I always feel as though he is saying,.. thank you, Boss...?3 points

She absolutely nailed it mate she spent most of the day making it, I’ve been at work since 04:30 this morning I walked in at 5 and within five minutes it was on my plate.3 points

Bollocks you can't just go round barrelling dogs if there was no threat to livestock( if there was any even present it doesn't say ) you can't just shoot a dog and how can you mistake a cocker for a fox in broad daylight then pull the trigger safely the unit sounds like a liability3 points
-
Number one rule of shooting ...identify your target .No ifs or buts if he could 100% identify his target as a fox he shouldn’t have pulled the trigger ...and he shouldn’t have a ticket now ..3 points

I picked up a mk2 HW77 .177 cal rifle from these forums that carries a stage 2 SFS tune. It is way better than a standard 77 in my humble opinion and I would`nt dream of selling her. There is`nt a 20 week wait for a SFS tuned rifle for nothing, is there ?2 points

Where I Have and Have Not Been I have been in many places but never have been in Cahoots. Apparently, you can't go there alone; you have to be in Cahoots with someone. I have also never been in Cognito. I hear no one recognizes you there. I have, however, been in Sane. They don't have an airport; you have to be driven there. I have made several trips there, thanks to my friends, family and work. I would like to go to Conclusions, but you have to jump, and I'm not too much on physical activity anymore. I have never been in Doubt. That is a sad place to go, and I try not to visi2 points

if folk pay silly money for dogs the dealers will keep rubbing there hands together and keep knocking them out ?just because you don't pay the silly money don't mean you don't value a dog , when I get a pup it stays with me for good , you only get out what you put in if it cost nowt or a grand ?2 points

Good sensible comments lads... I know for a fact, that certain coursing Studs can command a high price for their services, and any resulting pups will not be sold cheap. Obviously, when a breeder has paid a £1000 for a lining, he is entitled to ask what he likes, for his pups. I've never mixed in such company, and my lurchers ain't in the same league, so I always try to breed a pup, solely for my own requirements. Once, I have my choice to hand, the rest of the litter can then be placed in other, safe hands. As a pensioner, my needs are modest,..I don't want money,...2 points
