On alot of fast ground etc, or just for lamping in many places you'd ecpect to catch alot on, then I don't think they'd do very well. Finally found some federal 50grn wmr ammo. I have been keen to try them for a while and this afternoon I did just that. I shot five at 60 off hand casually at some lumber and was not hopeful at all! I then plinked five more at close to 300 yards and noticed them landing pretty consistently! Umm I thought, it may be me so shot a few more and did better. I lifted the scope by 20 clicks and went hunting. I got four rabbits. #1@60 #2@60 #3@117 and #4@98. The misses were one at about 100. It is indeed..... I did the terriers for M's father (J) and his successors for 18 seasons, but we "occupied ourselves" with the terriers pretty much all year round. I guess we were very fortunate to have lived during somewhat more relaxed times ?

If I hadn't already been offered a pup before these were born I would of took one we run some really rough ground we were taking the farmers collie with us last year it put up and caught 13 rabbits one day in sedge grass and bracken the same dog has killed over a dozen foxes i think it depends more on the collie used and both parents work so I don't see the problem not fast enough for everyone but they will have uses
