G'day all, It's been a while since I posted a hunting write up in here. It's been a while since I went hunting to have anything to write up. Anyway, I picked up a nice rabbit permission recently. I went to have a look early on Saturday. Came away with these 5, all taken between 30 and 50 metres. I missed a couple, too, but I'll get them next time! Happy shooting, all.8 points

To think that he'll grow out of it is very wishful thinking and doesn't take into account why the dog is behaving like this. Yes, he's feeling his feet, his male strength, and the buzz he gets from challenging other dogs is self-fulfilling, but it's up to you to show him the rules, which mean that you are in charge. Every time the dog runs off to 'play', threaten, dominate another dog you are allowing him to be in charge, to be in control. Whilst many people these days feel bad about disciplining their dogs, it is absolutely necessary that you take control of him, in every situation. I'v7 points

If I had 12 malnourished kids, and my mate in the same shanty town had 12 kids who were fat as butter because he poached a rhino horn a year ago and life has been on the up for him ever since, and some Chinese guy rocked up with a rusty AK-47 and the offer of $500 if I brought him a rhino horn I am going to slide on my flip-flops and head out for the bush, its just a modern 3'rd world version of impoverished middle-ages british serfs taking one of king johns deer, hard times beget hard measures.7 points

We are not where we are because Nationalism failed how can we be we,ve never given Nationalism a go !.....and the reason we didnt give it a go was because people didnt think it was all that important......today Enoch Powell is celebrated for what he said....we said exactly the same and were vilified for it !...what is it an education thing or short haircuts ? Today people want results without offending anybody your theory of not paying bills is like sneaking in the back door of your own home its too late in the day for all these clever tactical manoeuvres its time we went through the fron4 points

No, you know I ain’t going to be girlie about it.......when men have strong opinions about different things sometimes that’s the way it plays out. Thats just normal. The right wing stuff (and everything else) turned out to be bollocks imho because we are at where we are at, the message of the NF and it’s like has singularly failed and we have to be honest enough to admit that so that we can say “ok, where do we go from here?”.........when I looked out my window back home I didn’t see an England I recognised anymore. I saw a mongralised perversion of a country that even the folks4 points

I’ve got a springer Russel bitch here that I’m looking to re home, I’ve asked around the lads I think she would suit on here but they are either full up or waiting on pups so I’m trying on here......she’s 15 months old and coming on really well, I’ve just got to many dogs on so ones got to go. I got her at 7 months old as I felt sorry for her as she had been stuck in a kennel most of her short life and is still a bit shy tbh but I’ve brought her on to a point where I think she would be better off going to a one man, one lurcher, one busher type set up so she will be settled and bush happily ev3 points

I saved this fella about 3 weeks ago , he had his leg in one of the keepers fen traps so his leg was a mess, he’s lost 2 toes but he’s healing well, with the amount of ticks and fleas on him he’s been living wild for a while, soon be time for him to pay me back with some rabbits before the end of the season ?3 points

If you past your car test after 97 you might need to do a trailer test depending on weight of caravan3 points

I've spent years dragging a caravan around the country muckshifting. Even had a tow hitch on my xr3i convertible. The best thing I've found is no matter where you go it obviously feels strange in a new place especially.on your own. Is once you drop the legs and walk into the van and close the door. You feel at home. As lads have said dido spend about 1500 and you will be good to go. If you do like caravaning then the van you buy will do for a good few years. Bigger the better.get a twin axle. More room for the kids to have there own space etc. And y3 points

As a fan of collie blooded lurchers and with no intention of offending anyone, each to their own and all that, I don't see any point whatsoever in 7/8 collie 1/8 greyhound. If you like collie blood that much just buy a leggy collie, which, to be fair is just about what you would have. I've had racy first crosses, brains aplenty, excellent nose, feet, stamina and endurance, they would do everything that a near collie could do and more besides. I like a biddable responsive dog mooching about me and I'm well aware that on the right type of ground in the right circumstances a full collie could fi3 points

Taken in Patong,Thailand, a stunning and colourful adult "Common" or "Garden" lizard as they are known, lying on my stomach at the grounds of my hotel to capture this low level mushy image, residents and staff alike appeared to be both intrigued and amused at me, crawling about with my camera - i reckon it was worth the little effort.2 points

"Has he seen much work?" Had one of my pups back to look after at 3 years old 28" and 90lb. He would see a dog run at it to scare it, then chase run it down and pin it to the floor. Or if the dog stood its ground, there would be a fight. The dog couldn't be trusted around stock and it was stock broken when it left here at 7 months old. His favourite trick was retrieving Swans! Totally unacceptable. I had the dog for 4 weeks, out most days hunting, caught a few bits and the dog was changed. He realised dogs is not the game and I had removed his pent up energy. Through the hunt he is feeding his family though mate, one news story says he is after rhino so yes, either Yemeni or Chinese driven market.2 points

If he was killing an animal to feed his family ie the meat then fare enough, but he's not he is after Ivory to feed the Chinese desire for trinkets and false medicine. So live by the sword die by the sword. Cheers Arry2 points

Here is some pics of clients with the whitetail deer they shot last season. i did some grunt work last last year getting bait in and setting the cams up. The hunting area is so large its very time consuming getting from each hunting stand. we found some new spots which proved to bring in some really nice bucks2 points

The priority for me Chris is whatever stops them coming through the door im not educated enough to get political so tell me to sign a form and i,ll sign it,tell me to tick a box and i,ll tick it,but what im not going to do is sit quietly and play ball with parties who dont prioritise what i prioritise.....life is simple for a simple man ?2 points

Not thought of a converting an old van into a camper yourself? You can pick up old lwb sprinters for under 3k.....just looked on eBay and found this for £2.5k as an example but he is open to offers so he would probably take 2 grand off eBay lol https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/mercedes-sprinter-van-312-d-312d-lwb-diesel-camper-campervan/254188406899?hash=item3b2ecf4873:g:XRUAAOSwxllbDo1x strip it all down inside, clean it, get it fully serviced by someone you trust and search sites like gumtree for free ply wood to re line it, and then look for “free caravan” on there and stuff lik2 points

Calling that caravan freedom. Is taking the piss. Should be called. Confined. The only freedom you will get is walking out of it.2 points

Mine never showed no aggression and would run up and piss about. Then one day a bulldog snuck out from behind hind us and grabbed him by the chops while he was on a lead. The old terrier mentality switch flipped unfortunately. You don't want your dog having bad experiences because once they get into a habit your fooked lol.2 points
