  1. The biggest lie we have been sold is that we are better off in the eu and we are unable to function without them, historically all empire building comes crashing down eventually and will do in the future, the Roman Empire was an early attempt at the eu, Adolf hitters invasion of Europe was another failed attempt at creating a European superstate, and now the French and Germans have clubbed together to try and create it again only this time by using stealth, lies a scaremongering, plus the help of traitors like Blair, forget brexit and look at the rest of the eu, victor alban Hungarian leader ha

  3. Spot on FD, don't follow that reply up because it can't be bettered. I mooch around the stream behind my house with every pup I have, from 8 weeks old upwards they're given free reign to piss about and take it all in. At 8 month old upwards I'll let them walk over earth's (on a lead) just to see if they mark it. Maybe it won't be the first earth, maybe it won't be the first day, but within a few earth's or days I'll guarantee they'll be marking strong desperate to get in and investigate the smell that's firing their curiosity. I NEVER take a pup onto a dig, every single terrier I enter

  6. In my experience on the subject ,the entering of a terrier should be carried out casually ,no fuss no winding the dog up .Each to their own but it's no coincidence the best terriers come from the most laid back lads .Socialising ,obedience and generally getting out on a bit of mouching all leads up to the day when breeding is expected to shine through and nothing you can do from that day on ,apart from treating them well and what they are shown ,will influence how that terrier turns out. Those that havnt self entered of mine have been very few and were very noticeable in every day lif

  9. Buzzards are far more of a scavenger than a hunter that's why no one fly,s them, they eat mostly dead or sick animals and a lot of worms, there is normally a lot of them over one field because it's been recently ploughed and the worms are easy to get, in a small valley near me there are 27 breeding pairs of buzzards and a very expensive pheasant shoot, they all get on just fine, peregrines take pigeons and we still don't have enough of them sparrowhawks take finch,s and if there was,nt an abundance of finch,s there would,nt be an abundance of sparrow Hawks that's how nature works, on the dock

John Galway the eu is ruining the roi as well and wasn’t long ago it was on its knees, your smugness is wearing thin, your country is also becoming over run with Middle East, Eastern Europe and feral blacks, but your too busy laughing at Britain to even notice that the beautiful Republic of Ireland is turning into a shitehole all due to the 4th reich and its uncontrolled immigration and take over of Europe.

  12. He was what he was. Remember his family read what people say on sites like this. His son being a hunting man. I was always told never to speak ill of the dead. Yet so many authors need to repeat stories about him that they picked up from hearsay. Iv read articles and books from genuine good terriermen that have done more harm than plummer ever did. Iv followed the bullfights and started off reading hemingway. Today any bullfight author needs to add criticism of hemingway, analising everyword he wrote. Hemingway and plummer did live lives we can only dream of....but.....

  13. The more i see these rifles, the more they remind me of the standard issue Star Wars, federation rifle. So, lads, - i rang FX up and explained a few lads i know have bought them in both sub 12 and FAC and can they tell me what`s the big deal about an FX Impact ? First thing they said was " Who`s bought one of them" ? honestly, you could hear them giggling away in the background I said, as far as i know, Pav ( Alan), Phil Pot, Villaman ( Mitch) and Big Mac ( Jimmy), - well they were in hysterics by now ?

There your pups pal you decide a lot on here will say gift them.I've had the offer of gifted pups and have always insisted on giving a token gesture of £50 but most dogs I've bought have been £100 as most of the time off lads i knew except when I've had them off Hancock then I think I paid £150 and £175.I got gifted a old type lakie many years ago and only dog I've never gave a penny for as I drove from perthshire in Scotland to Wales for her and the lad wanted me to have her as he knew she'd be looked after and grafted and also I said he could have a litter off her in future.I had patterdales

  17. In this video I'm out ferreting for rabbits with Ryan and his lurcher pup Max. Its Max's first day out ferreting with Longnets. We return back to Ryans permission which has open warrens and is perfect for hunting rabbits. Ryan start by surrounding the warrens with a 50 yard Longnet and a ten yard stop net which has a leaded bottom line from Rabbitfever.co.uk Max is a natural at jumping the longnets and is also friends with the ferrets. Ryan lets him have a sniff around the rabbit holes but when Ryan enters the ferrets he puts Max in position to observe the rabbit warren whilst we let

It ran to the next tree and back to the hole and back to the other tree as Jess was on its tail. It was its third run at the hole that Jess lost it so I could blast it as it got home. Talk about fast action! It was a hard five hours hunting today with a first, my first partridge to a muzzleloader! I walked two miles or more to get on some pheasants that have summered in a corner of a farm and woodland. The first bird was straight forward. A

  29. Got to totally disagree with that, a healthy population of alpha predators is a clear indicator of a healthy balance right down the food chain,, kestrels and owls need lots of voles, rats and mice right the way up to the biggest of raptors needing bigger prey, your valuable stock as you put it have zero impact on the ecosystem and would have zero impact if they did,nt excist, nothing takes care of nature better than nature itself, all we do is f**k things up, during my lifetime we have already pushed them to the brink of extincsion once, that will do for me thanks

  33. Exactly.Aint that why we try our hardest to breed from generations of the best dogs possible. So its in their blood to work.If you feel you have to tie them out on digs, show them stop ends or let them rag carcass after carcass maybe its time to either look at the stock you keep or the way you rear/socialise your pups.

Out early this morning I was over the farm before light, managed to knock a whole cup of coffee over filling the compartments in the centre console ? ..that cleared up and with hardly a breath of wind I started my way round the chosen route , all the fields that were the normal hang outs were empty , yesterday there was upwards of 90 out . Two hours in and not a deer to be seen , cutting back through the wood I bumped a bunch of thirty , nothing I could get a shot at but at least I’d found some so pressed on into a plantation of oaks where I found a few more , again no chance of a clear shot I

If brand new as phil says its a must that the barrel will need a clean out use a pull through with cloths or tissues cut into little square.s you will be amazed at what shit will come out of the barrel it will take a good few pull through,s mind to clean it out and about half a tin of pellets to lead the barrel back up you should see a big difference from the off but will get better the more you put pellets through her and id do this with both rifles even if the other seems ok a barrel clean will improve that one to. as for pellets i use Jsb in all my r

  40. Welcome to the forum Dazzer. The HW100 is not normally pellet fussy at all but if these guns are new, they will have a coating inside the barrel to protect them in both storage and transit which will need to be cleaned out. It is not possible to say how much gunge is in the barrel but I would do this first before giving up on any pellet except RWS as I have never had a good result with those. I have just bought a .22 HW110k which had quite a bit of gunge in the barrel so I didn't bother testing until the cleaning was done. Both JSB derivative pellets including AA Field should do the
