Distressing as this sounds mate, you need to get your priority,s in order, I,m lucky my son is an animal and would have destroyed the said intruder, but if your misses or kids phone you in this situation you need to drop what your doing and get over there and sort it out, no job in the world is worth more than your family, sorry to piss on your fire but ffs man it's your misses and kid, you can get another job but your family can never be replaced, sorry again I do feel for you but I,d loose a thousand jobs over my family, really hope it's a one off and life returns to normal for you ?8 points

This "Gentleman" tried to burgle a pensioner and his mentally deficient sister last year, took cable-ties for a tie-up and a machete to terrorise the old folk, the pensioner blew a hole in his chest with a shotgun, the case was dropped against the old guy when he said he was in fear for the lives of himself and his sis.7 points

1/2 grey 1/4 collie 1/4beddy. Got him at six weeks 15 month now had a few early bunnies courtesy of the busher kills them straight away, retrieve hit and miss so bit work to do, proper tuned into the busher now started positioning himself round the cover for a chance of a result so can't complain, broke him to ferrets so with couple jills for coming season should have some fun. Sorry for posting just bored with how long will the forum last topic ??4 points

Feral animals either have escaped or are descended from escaped domestic animals. Lions on the other hand are wild animals being managed for recreational purposes. My point is the South Africans are working in their situation just like you are in Australia. Just like I do here in the States. We are all sportsmen working hard to preserve our way of life. Or our sport if you will.4 points

It's about time you got on to plod and reminded them what yõu are paying your council tax for. And what exactly constitutes an emergency. Perhaps a seriously injured paki on your drive might fire them up. At the age of 18 I would have been out there with a bat.4 points

Foxes can get in tight in soil but I've seen them push in, in rock holes a terrier can't even get its head in once ran one in to a horizontal crack in the rock the Fox could be seen pushed in tight no terrier could even get its head in a good hob ferret would of had a job he bested us that day and i thought it may of been his grave as it was that tight , I went back the next day foxy was gone except for a bit of back fur you'd never of know he had been there3 points

Pics as requested black lab was out of Sam of Drakeshead about 5 in pic,I would say he would have been an ideal type for lurcher breeding, very bright fast & athletic, yellow dog bout 4 in pic, he’s stopped with pricked bird in mouth marking other birds hitting floor many of them running, that’s what picking up is all about finding the wounded ones as there worth £40 a bird in regards the cost to the guns for a days shooting, pic of both labs & cocker watching birds hitting the floor waiting to be sent individually for wounded birds.regards cost of a good well bred lab at stud you could ge3 points

I know a lot of lads who wouldn't let you put there labs to a greyhound but I personally wouldn't mind ive been asked to put him to a few labs for either price of a pup or pick of litter which I haven't taken up as I want another lurcher and it will be my last dog but if it was helping a fellow lad out I'd let him use him and wouldn't expect anything3 points

Do you have a marking dog Morton that is unable to enter a pile lurcher or hound or do you just loose your terriers and hope they find ,I was talking to a lad who got drawn in to looking for your dog in a pile and when it all came out, you had no idea if the dog had entered the pile ,no collar no idea what if anything it had entered for [there is more than a fox lives in a rock pile ] or do your mutts no just to work fox when on the piles We used to have the terriers coupled until we got a mark I was lucky enough to have a couple of good marking dogs between me and mates and only when if3 points

I often think to myself if a super bright lamp is really needed. Back in the day i have had many a good night with the good old Halfords handheld spotlight and they were not a patch on the specialised lamps on the market now. Mind you, back in the day my feckin eyesight was a lot better as well.3 points

That's a low blow mate. I don't think anyone has any moral high ground when it comes to indigenous communities. Very few people in the world have to subsistence hunt and the benefits of these high-value animals far, far outweigh the perceived negatives. If you don't agree, fair enough but if you're in the business of making things dead the outcome is the same even if the justification isn't. In the vast majority of cases, hunters pushed these animals to the brink of extinction but they've also made restitution by bringing them back and pumping a sh*t ton of money into these communities du2 points
