Shot a few ferrals the shed roofs and realised the power was low on my hw100 so didnt take any more 40+ mtr shots got a woody and rabbit about 20 ish mtrs away, when i got home i put it on the crono and from 11.9 when i last tested it the power is now 10.6. Dont know how or why that would happen.

With family commitments later this afternoon i took up the offer of a day shooting local with craig and ian a few woodies from 1st stubble field and then craig dropped 3 crows one after the other from vehicle window .we drove to a farm on the coast and set up in a hide next to a large muck pile and after 30 mins the jackies and crows turned up and a bit of frantic shooting saw half a dozen laying dead on muck pile it went quiet so we left and tried another farm where we got 3 bandits and a few more woodies. Always been the same, I know(or knew) plenty of terrier and lurcher lads that went out as soon as the crops were cut until October-ish every year. Fine weather hunters with no respect for dogs or game. The crops being cut isn't a barometer to go off as they fluctuate each year depending on the weather, this year they were cut as early as I can remember.

Our local town centre has always had a problem with rats around the river that runs near a shopping centre . Recently a pest control firm vowed to clear them forever lol a tall order . People feed the ducks to excess and signs are up everywhere not to but still it goes on . I happened by there after work and stood and watched a total of 13 rats taking bread back to holes . They were different rats of different sizes . The council has laid mesh over the bank to prevent them from digging holes but in their stupidity they used plastic mesh and now the bank is like a cheese lol . Perso

worked half a day today as its a bank holiday weekend over here. so i hit both bait spots in the afternoon considering they are both 40 mins form my house each way. grabbed some peas from the local elevator and off i went. cam down on the farmland had 230ish pics in 2 weeks,few does with fawns,no end of elk and nice return of the boars (last pics in post) pretty impressive large bull elk roaming by a few times.nightime pics will be better net time as i changed out the batteries. cam in forestry had 330ish in 2 weeks,just a few spiker bucks and does (first pics).
