She is back home and looking good, still don't know what caused it, the wallet took a hammering £510, but what the fck, if she is going to be alright it will be worth it.12 points

I have found that to be true for everything in life. I've driven plant all my life and you come across mouthy feckers all the time.ive done this and that types. But they are useless on a machine.but the quiet 1s sat in the cabin are the 1s who can drive.they let the machine do the talking. The same with dog men. The dogs do the talking and you can clearly see the difference.no bragging is needed.12 points

no you don't understand, the dog has tones of pace, but is clever enough to slow down once it gets there, and anticipate what its quarry will do, and catch it.6 points

Hi,.if you are willing to take written advice or learn from a DVD, (and for some folk, this is often this is the only viable option),...why not try to obtain a copy of Glenn Waters definitive text on Rabbit snaring... "Professional Rabbit Snaring: A Complete Book on Rabbit Snaring for Gamekeepers, Professional & Amateur Trappers, Field Sportsmen. I believe Fourteen Acre the Field Sports supplier sells it.?5 points

Many of the best lines of Bull blood and Coursing dogs, came about, via men with time on their hands and a desire to create something special...regardless of their own financial status or upmarket neighborhood... Nice shiny kennels and a brand new pick up, don't necessarily make good dogs,..its continuous work in the field that molds an animal into a useful critter...?5 points

Asked to pop up the road to sort out some bunnies that were trying to destroy the veggie patch and lawn. This meant that any rabbit needed to be taken not that I like taking the youngsters especially as we have been hit hard by mixy the last couple of years. However, it was pleasing to see a lot of healthy rabbits about so hopefully the numbers will bounce back for the ferreting season. Managed five rabbits before setting off to sit under some ash trees to await the pigeons. Plenty came in but were now impossible to pick out in the foliage although one bandit made the mistake of coming too clo4 points

This is the core problem with bull crosses. People get them and if they don't come up to a mythical standard they get rid of them. Back in the day it was cartridge in the back of the head now its a trip to the dogs trust. This strategy guarantees success because it places all the focus of the dog and none of the owner. What is worse is bull crosses are expected to be successful from an early age so the ownership cycle can be an 18 month one. Those dogs that do make the grade are pushed hard often before their grow plates have fused, and then start to suffer skeletal breakdown in their second o4 points

So I've started a new video series where I will show exactly how I raise and train my mink. This is the first in the series, what do you guys think?3 points

Well lads I`m putting in a lot of paperwork/ target training with the newly bought HW97K. You do realise the pigeon decoying season is fast approaching don`t you ? This HW97K is going to " bag up" if they show up in numbers this year. Here`s a regular 12 shot group tonight - just before a beer shouted to me. atb Mark.3 points

I will be keeping back a few for big pest control jobs where I need a bunch of mink, and I managed to find local working homes for all but two of the rest. Those two ended up being shipped out of state to people wanting to try their hands at hunting and fishing with a mink. I did my best to find local homes so I could still use them for breeding if they turned out to be good hunters. I'm hoping to continue and improve my hunting line of mink, and the more options I have to choose from, the better results I will get.3 points

Only one takeaway I use here and that is only for tandoori chicken, cooked in a proper tandoor by Indians! I never have food delivered, just don't trust the fuuckers ? I'd rather eat out here tbh, it's the same price with a change in ambience ? To add here; right next to my house I have 3 butchers, countless green grocers, 5 fishmongers and 1 supermarket... I normally make fresh food everyday. We've lost that imo! It's all about the convenience nowadays. Not a dig mate.3 points

Maybe it would be better to not by off people that lie about a dogs age, and get rid of a 9 year old ,they deserve better than being passed around at that age. Maybe when you buy dogs off people you don't know get a trial,as they may be selling because they have jacked or been brought on badly. Maybe if you need to get rid because they've jacked pts rather than pass on . Only saying as a few lads have done the buying in older dogs trick, when they first start out. But get stung. But if lads pass on dogs of poor quality rather than stop the merry-go-round, it's the dogs that3 points

I don't think a fox would take much catching up to, by any sort of lurcher unless the dog not trying, after that different thing, not my bag though tbh, I have a 243 for them, that don't jack.3 points

If your looking for a fox dog that can take as much as you can show them a 3/4 grey 1/4 bull wouldn't be me first choice and maybe your showing the youngsters a bit to much before there ready and I wouldn't say there's many that will take as many as you can show them s/h they all have a breaking point sometimes when you least expect it and take it from me if your chasing the holy grail don't bother you will never be happy3 points

Just in from a good mornings sport with the Husher! picked 64,guess I shot another dozen on top of that ,they fell into long grass so I left them for Charlie. Running low on 3" carts so was using Gamebore 21/2" 9 shot 14 gram loads, seem to have done the business. Had a few good bags of late, guess 300+ in the last few weeks, and plenty more to go at. Also had 2 birds for the one shot today?3 points

Iodine?????????? No way. Far too strong on such a delicate area. Bit of sudocrem is about as harsh as a swollen vulva can tolerate, though chances are the ferret will lick it off. Keep her in a very clean hutch/run. Clean out every day. Don't use wood shavings, use straw. Wood shavings can seriously irritate.2 points

I think most have been there apache i had one last season I knew it would be a long day within ten minutes with him in my ear constant then when his dog walked he said those famous words its not done that before I have always found the more honest and modest lads usually had the better dogs the louder the owner the more my expectations dropped in there claims which normally proved right2 points

Its a mystery, why the miscellany of rough and broken coated lurchers, (many of Deerhound origins),...have disappeared off the scene.? Perhaps we now have far more versatile hunting dogs, mostly created for a purpose, ie; the Saluki and Bull blooded lurchers. Maybe our beautiful Deerhound hybrids belong to another era, sadly long gone, when lads used to go out and simply enjoy seeing their running dogs in action, unburdened with the stress of fretting and worrying, as to whether their jukels did this, or did that,....? back then it was great craic,...the lurcher world was innocent a2 points
