Agree born. I started beating as a kid and not just my meat lol Funniky enough it was a keeper who had chased me off his land on a few occasions. Then one day got talking to him and asked me what i was doing on Saturday. After that went beating for him for a good few seasons. Met lots of people from all walks in life. From top men who worked for BP to a knighted guy he was actually a really sound old fellow. TOok time to chat to me for a good hour. Then i got my shotgun certificate and enjoyed end of season when it was keepers day and they beat for us. Utterly f***ing u6 points

Co op have started selling out of sale by date food for 10p. Think its a great idea and will certainly help famlies below the bread line and give them a wee helping hand. Of course health and safety food standards have just had to get there big f***ing stick in this scheme. Saying its not a good idea and they will be monitoring the situation. Their nose will be out of joint cause the co op didn't consult them. All we get is millions of tonnes of food go to landfill and we as consumers should do our bit. Now when someone does they get slated. Its not like the c5 points

Well this is the last time I had all the pups out together, some have gone on to start their rabbit catching careers with their new owners. I have mixed emotions about letting them go but the time has come.5 points

We were out yesterday with my mates Paddy,s young dog, this dog had 1 dig over him and had done well.We were over on my diging mates permission and he took us to a real good place that holds plenty of quarry. The 1st place we went Snowy the lurcher was saying no at the entrance so we moved on after giving the terrier a run through it.Next place is a biggish spot but not deep and this time Snowy was in to the tip of her tail so we were in buisness,Frankie the young dog was collered up and away he went with no hesitation,We gave him time to settle and located him at just a metre and after a nice q5 points

Drowned in alchahol then fried complete, if the French can do it to a goldfinch I,m sure a ring neck would make an absolute banquet, I had a squirrel last week that my dog retrieved live (silly boy) it was biting shit out of him, anyway it was in an orchard and had been dining mostly on apples which made the flavour much nicer than some I,ve tried, so maybe feed the ring neck on cheese and Parma ham for a while and it will be taste like a pizza,4 points

Depends what sort of things you are into mate, so for an instance, I like my football so I may do coaching badges which are not cheap to get. Or maybe for you, as I have heard you speak passionately on here about your faith, some type of counselling qual and you could use that to help people who may have taken a wrong turn?4 points

To Crows I ran a d/h /grey X collie/grey and a saluki hybrid back then, often together on the south downs and both had their good and not so good points, the DH/ hybrid caught more hares but the saluki did more of the work. I have no photos but did this of them.3 points

Now the scum known as the SNP are saying if ireland are allowed to stay in the single market so should scotland. They are c**ts of the highest order. Fortunately were sick of them and there failure in running scotland. Also the divisions between us and are losing support daily.3 points

Just kidding It's all to do with focus at different ranges - a multipurpose set up that could be used, for example, for rats at 10yrds and rabbits at 45yrds, will give a better sight picture if the parallax is adjustable - it'll take the blur of the image so that reticle and target are sharp and, it'll help to reduce parallax error. The best way to see parallax error is to put your crosshairs on target, keep the rifle still, then move your head around slightly - if the crosshair appears to move off target, that's parallax error. So, if your head position isn't exac3 points

Well I've not heard anything from the huge perm I mentioned the other week. To be honest, im not holding my breath as they are as someone said, a disorganised bunch of so and son's. Based on that tip off I went out last week and called at a country hall with a full size 18 hole golf course that's about half an hours drive from me. I called into the shop and as luck had it the green keeper was having a brew in there so after a quick introduction and letting them see my BASC card he took me round in the gaitor showing me round the course and the hot spots. What a top bloke. He said i c3 points

All this could have been avoided, if the EU had had the brains to throw that prick Cameron a bone when he was asking for a different deal for the UK, there never would have been a referendum. They underestimates just what the collective British people’s attitude to such things are......as did I If I’m honest. I thought that good old British “f**k off” attitude had been well and truly killed off.....but there it was on the morning of the result and i for one felt true joy. Nobody can understand it, only we get it........underneath the cup of tea and jolly good old chap we are a3 points

I will give you one thing bill you are consistent ... every time you write a post it's consistently a bag of bollox ... the youngster I have is getting plenty of work quite obviously as she is my main worker at the moment and so far hasn't put a foot wrong and is putting plenty of gear away ... if she has a fault it is that she is to keen and is a 100 miles an hour at everything she does ..... as for working dogs that work day in day out you don't need to tell me how much it takes out of them I live it everyday however I know my dogs you don't and if this bitch can be healed she wil3 points

Yes, I do every year sure enough not as much as when Mon or strachan in charge , but these are the days of our lives as Celtic fans , You have to remember how horrid it was being a Celtic fan in the late eighties through to early 2000s one of my favourite football memories ever was coming back from “helicopter Sunday “ on my own , wed lost the league on the final day , i was returning to work the next day and at scotch corner services late at night I fuelled up , red eyed and knackered, as ever I put 18.88 worth of fuel into my car, as I looked up I saw another guy2 points

I've got to say: I was convincing myself that numbers were down after reading stuff like this but actually, numbers are just down in the places that I have been looking. I spent last few weeks trying to improve my outings by going to the fields that surround all of my usual spots and was pleasantly surprised at the decent number of rabbits that I was getting on.. The sweet spots change and its up to me to change with them. And you know what - I've bloody enjoyed it. Proper hunting as far as I'm concerned - exploring and re learning the lay of the land then linking it up with the oth2 points

Best fox dog I ever owned was a little red bitch that at the start of every season was to rough for her own good but would settle after three are four digs would still be mute but worked them with a better style, in six seasons I never seen her rag a fox above the sod, she'd barely give it a sniff. Never judge an earth dog by how it behaves above ground judge it by how it behaves below.2 points
