Mrs has gone out tonight for a drink with her mate.. shes been nagging me to shave off the beard I've lazily grown... well the beards gone, but a cracking Tom Sellick moustache remains..lol i sent her a nice pic of my "baldrick esque slug balancing act", she's not impressed for some reason?? well I'm keeping it, at least for the next 24 hours... maybe 2 days... she's a very lucky woman..

Another walk out today. Was ok on the lower ground but visibility on the Tors was pretty poor. Dogs had a couple of runs in the cover on the low ground. A bit of fresh air if nothing else!

Phoned firearms department on Friday and they will be sending out my FAC ticket this coming week , only taken 11 months 2 weeks if it does come this week . Everybody has to start somewhere, what does it matter when the lads dog took a rabbit? it took it retrieved live to hand does it mater what time of the fecking year it done it? Maybe a more experienced man such as yourself might of offered advice instead of being a totally negative, or is it the wrong time of year for advice and easier just to be negative?

After getting a few good runs on his first trip out, I've been waiting for another chance to get out lamping with my 18 month old dog, Atta. Went out a couple hours this morning hoping for a bandit or 2,heard a few in area seen 1 in distance but no luck,a good few pigeons on the sitty tree earlier but never shot them as heard bandits close.in the end I was running out of free time so decided to take a couple woodies home with me for my effort,both head shot at my 47yds spot with the rapid. I get this from the wife, and then from the kids. So I shaved off the growth......... the right side only! Left it like that for a week, shopping , kids school, going out.. the looks from women were interesting, the looks from guys and thumbs up told me a whole different story. She has pretty much left me alone since that shave, to the point where I start to want to shave, before she dares ask again.
