There definitely isn't as many lads out putting work in front of dogs anymore so it only makes sense there would be less good dogs, although there's always been bad dogs and plenty of them. Getting good dogs isn't the problem it's getting good dog men.

Seen a few “bad dogs” turn into very good dogs in the right hands. I know not all make the grade but think a lot of it is down to what’s on the other end of the lead.

That’s the problem though, so many idiots with shite dogs that have barely seen a days work, breeding and peddling. And once you and your mates have a break away from dogs, trying to find someone genuine with decent dogs that will sell a stranger a pup isn’t easy.

Simple life has never been simple and its certainly not easy. Be careful what you wish for. In my experience, you need plenty of money to have a simple life. If you haven't enough money, you need to work hard to lead such a life.

I totally disagree with all of that mate especially in the regards of running dogs ,you can almost guarantee how something will be from certain blood , the laziness of lads not willing to travel to something decent and bumming up of dogs has lead to utter shite being bred. I’ve never bred from my own dogs as I could never see anything I couldn’t achieve from letting others feel the pain with breeding

Personally I think every pup is a gamble, nothing is garenteed, easy to spoil certain types... thats why it's best to breed your own,that way then you will know the faults as well as the strengths ...if your giving/selling outside your click,then you have to be honest,and not blow smoke up one's own arse?

Never experienced really sucky situations. Me and one of my class mates are the only vets in class. Me army him Coast Guard. As guys do craps starts getting talked and stories start getting told. Helping a friend out who has some pups for sale hes old school doesn't have Internet or a smart phone these where bred by himself and owns mother farther, out of a litter of 5 males hes keeping 2 males back so there 3 males available they white with red patches 9 weeks old, mother is 26inchs and fathers is 27 inches reasonable priced based in Liverpool. Thanks
