Theres the problem do gooders. Holiday Inn up by me shut 300 moved in Local Councillor did a article in the local news letter telling emotive lie after lie. I have sent a 2 emails direct to him now asking him to explain how he knows they are "mainly families" and "experienced trauma" when the HO wont even release who these people are or their demographic. I have sent emails to the news letter, local paper and have complained to the Holiday Inn and not had not one single reply. Every one I talk to agrees but no one will do anything about it. Living on the boat I notice little changes that I never when I lived in a house and this week it’s the return of the dawn chorus, only one or two at the start of the week but each day getting a bit more noisy when I take the dogs for there morning stroll must be those extra few minutes of daylight we are getting each week that triggers it ???

We live in a valley with a nature reserve on one side. It's a very diverse landscape with scrub, hedges, woodland, pasture and plenty of water. I get through over 160kg of bird food per year. When we have friends stay and they're staying outside. I tell them that they should go to bed because the birds will wake you up, they tell me to sshhhh. I get up in the morning and go see them around 9am and they've been up for 5 hours, after a couple of hours kip and mostly drinking before bed. The dawn chorus is proper loud when your in a tent ? fecking townies.

To be honest I,m expecting you to give it a miss anyway, but all I was offering was a day or night or both out in an area that has regular sightings and I find kills and talk to locals that in many cases have seen something we can go out and just walk we may find a footprint a fresh kill if we are really lucky get a sighting but most likely we,ll see f**k all but will both hopefully learn a little bit about each other and from each other, ?
