Had a really rough (not so)fat lamb yesterday. Dosed it with all sorts. This morning I spied it flat out, crow pecking at it but lamb still kicking at it. Raced over to fucķ the crow off. Brought lamb in, stood it up (held it up for 25 minutes) & wedged with a bale. Electrolytes & fresh ivy sprigs (proper old school country ways). Not out of woods yet but as of half 8 tonight he's looking better11 points

I think everyone who wants to, remembers in their own little way. I’ve never been one for the big parades. Never liked mixing with the big wigs as they are not my kind of people. Each to their own. I found a plaque up on the Moor a few years ago so always head up there, crack my flask and enjoy the silence. Think of absent friends and the families they left behind.8 points

One of Britain's leading big cat experts, written books on them and lectures on them, sees them often including females with cubs actually saw this cunningly disguised spacecraft that looks like a camper van but isn't land in the countryside from another dimension ?6 points

Anybody who likes large raptors ought to consider going to the Puy du Fou in France. They have a bird display that you cannot believe. At the finally there must be 50 or more vultures, eagles, hawks, owls and large non raptors all flying inches sbove your head. They release a peregrine from a tethered baloon and lure it in the auditorium. It stoops so fast that you can hardly follow it. There are other attraction too, about three days worth. Got to be the best value for money theme park ever. Got to book at this time of year to be sure of a6 points

Today I sat on a bench with a cup of tea and thought about a friend of mine who I carried into a church with a Union Jack coffin and all the other lads who never came home , literally , physically and mentally . rememberance should never be given lips service . I actually dislike the whole falseness of the occasion . I wear an enamel poppy on my coat but as I stood up my phone popped up with a social media message , listing various celebrities who have posted “ lest we forget “ messages on their platforms . I have nothing in common with these people . Next year I don’t thin5 points

Go on ebay or Google Plummer books and you soon find a copy , I dont give a f what people say about Plummer he wrote some good books. Some on here forget to say they was the very people who travelled many miles to visit him for many years , I'm sure some have a true reason to dislike the man but others I'm not so sure about .5 points

FIFA are selling the soul of football......just look at the World Cup ! We are grown men Max, football is just an interest, it shouldn't be the overriding thing in our lives...I'll be watching the UK Snooker Open with more interest than watching the World Cup. It's what we do, we are all different. But I hope England wins the World Cup, but I doubt very much they will, and I hope Newcastle qualify for Europeanan competition, which they might. God luck with your pups, and, by the way, I love the pics of your daughter on the horse, my grandson is quite accomplished at horse riding5 points

Max .. hes posted nearly 40 times in 14 days .. that's hardly not coming on is it .. I reckon you should get back to your old self with the good advice on running dogs as you've a wealth of knowledge and experience with the years you kept greyhounds.. Think it's best to ignore the people you clash with it's not worth getting wound up over an internet forum ..4 points

Weren't you claiming to have a ghost in your house a not long ago if my recollecting is right and now I'm an open minded person but for me you'll probably have more chance seeing a space ship or a big cat then a feckin ghost unless under the influence of some type of mind changing drug3 points

Yeah, it makes ya wonder where all these exotic species suddenly crop up from? We did have our own 'Big Cat' (well, biggish cat?) sighting, a few years back, just down the road from me,...but it didn't last long..?3 points

Amazing bird but does anyone think videos of them hunting hares is a bit of an anticlimax? They just look too big and cumbersome, not as exciting as harris hawks.3 points

All I can say is this. Whilst out hunting in the Uk for all sorts of creature's day and night I have seen no big cats or anything else not normal in our countryside. Yet whilst in my presence, others have seen big cats, ghosts, and even spaceships! Sitting here watching an old film I heard the following conversation, "How could all of us been fooled by one man" answer " because we often see what we want to see". How apt and how often we should think ab3 points

That's exactly the way you need to see things to be a good driver ?. Every driver needs to play their part . Unfortunately, less and less drivers seem to understand this. I've been driving a bin lorry for about 17 or 18 years now . I still do an odd day here and there driving other lorries, but not often. Driving a hgv will be a challenge to begin with , but , with a bit of experience, it'll feel no different to driving your car . I'll swap between , car , hgv , tractor , motorbike, forklift , pick up , jcb , without even giving it a second thought , it all just becomes second n3 points

yes, I had one and what people seem to forget there was an amnesty and it was simple to dispose of them. My Post was put up to show how easy it is to photo lynx etc in remote areas never mind built up areas like the UK, but hey ho if people believe in fairy stories so be it.3 points
