My daughter in law is Saudi, her late husband, ( my son), was British. Her son, ( my grandson), is british. I had an informal meeting with an immigration lawyer to tentatively explore the possibility of her getting British citizenship and passport. He said it was 100% certain, but she'd have to go through all the formalities and costs and would take 5 to 7 years untill she got the passport. He said, half jokingly, if she just came here and claimed asylum under the Human Rights Act, Right To A family Life, she would be accepted almost immediately, it would cost her nothing and sh7 points

I think the bit that winds me up the most is that they can come here and get all of the free shit without having paid anything in. ........ that's our money - we all earned that. We contributed to the standards in this country. Not them.7 points

Just watching Madge on her way back to London, the crowds speak volumes she was well loved, must be an aged thing with me, cos it's brought a little tear to my eyes, end of an era I'm glad it's gone off without any incidents ,apart from a heckler or two,and a credit to all involved in her funeral. So RIP dear lady6 points

After speaking to a farmer yesterday she said she had heard foxes yapping on near the farm so I said I would have a look last night. Well the moon was full and very bright so didnt expect to see anything but you have to be in it to win it. I got tucked in the shadows of a small copse and put the caller out , cub call playing and within minutes had a fox coming from the opposite wood , let it come to around 100 yds and job done , a vixen cub. By now it was like daylight so packed up and went home .5 points

They should have left her at Balmoral, she loved the place. Seeing her being driven through the city of London with all the whooping and whistling, compared to how the Scots handled it I thought was disrespectful. The Scots did her proud and handled everything brilliantly.4 points

Last nights mega mooner was working a field of beans parallel to stubble, watched it do an airborne attack on a pheasant when it broke cover.. it did connect but lost its grip and gave chase through the beans to no avail and came back 5 mins later, could see it all the time trying to find it! thought that makes a change, it’s usually me looking all over the spot? the wind was in my favour and a great big pile of manure was keeping the moon off me.. watched it trot 300 yards towards me and bout 100 yard out, gave it a squeak it stoped.. boom!4 points

They are very elusive, rumour has it that the dog lads almost wiped them out in the late 80’s to mid 90’s, I start to see a few from around the beginning of autumn, mainly in fields where I pick and eat these small mushrooms, maybe the jackalope like them too ?4 points

Semi autos are a bit of a no no on game shoots . First - not traditional, second , safety, or being seen to be safe and those around you feeling uncomfortable. It’s nice when you are stood around waiting for birds to appear to be relaxed and have the gun broken and others to see you are safe . Also they spit cartridges everywhere and if you are in stood near bushes or bracken or heather , they are lost until Foxhunter or a Womble turns up . ?4 points

So, with the weather we have got at the moment the birds just want to be out the pens and in the sunshine on the fields, They are still eating well and I think I’m going to lift the wire at the weekend, set the rest free after feeding the pens I took the bike over the piggeries with a bag of apples for the deer and some fresh water, good job I’ve got the feeders in crates to stop them fallow rolling them about then off to walk the stubble and tip drive in, there was loads there, a right mix of ours next doors and wildies last stop was the oak wood and I got a shock when I seen3 points

Their just a pain to get really is the main reason. Supressors are an NFA item and require a $200 tax stamp paper work and usually a six month wait before you even allowed to buy your supressor and that can be anywhere from $300-$2000. Not to mention if it's an older rifle you gotta go get it threaded . O and did I mention you can get rejected and keep your $200. You can do a form 1 where you build your own from say a solvent trap or a parts kit but it's still that $200 tax stamp and like a 6 week wait . it's just a pain when in most states you can buy your class one fire arms and3 points

I think you need to read up a little. As Roe Deer antlers develop they are covered in a grey furry skin known as velvet. Under the velvet there are blood vessels and nerves that feed the antler during is development. On occasions Roe Bucks damage the velvet whilst the antlers are developing which may cause abnormal non-typical antlers to form. By April Roe Deer antlers are usually fully developed, although in older animals this could be as early as March. As the hours of daylight increases it causes Roe Bucks to have an increase in testosterone which stops the blood supply to the v2 points

That's it,gone are the days were you could load up the pick up go digging and not run the risk of being stopped on your way home, with marked up terriers and a lurcher...I know too many lads that's happened too(unlucky enough to be stopped driving cars, pick ups are the kiss of death along with vans and small SUV's),they go back to your house and they throwing the book at you for meds in the fridge,DNA testing your shovels and boots etc, pictures on the walls of dogs long gone, even owning certain books is no good ?..couple that with the anti cnuts and dog walkers with phones....harder and harder2 points

lol, sorry T,in my younger days I wanted everything dug and destroyed at any cost ,so kept the Black's..now I'm abit older and hopefully wiser I've changed the way I do things...don't need a hard dog that looks like it's been through a mincer everytime you get it dug?that'd why I've gone back to the Russell's ??2 points
