Used to run with a couple of lads that used to use the cross mainly for fox an deer but they’d have a crack at anything that moved. I’ve still got a old line bred collie greyhound deer hound greyhound but there was whippet/greyhound added as the outcross my bitch was the most honest bitch I’ve had good fast catch bitch good at closing large gaps her only downfall was she would catch fox an didn’t want to kill them all she wanted to do was pin them in to the ground I didn’t use her much on them because I didn’t like what she was doing I bred out of this bitch to a f1 bedlington greyhound an pro12 points

I personally think he's f****d up. Whatever he gains out of this, will lead to net losses imo. If they had gone from victory to victory and shown the world what they were capable of it would be a different story. This will weaken Russia's power and it will embolden, expand, and improve NATO. It may well even lead to the end of the Putin regime.6 points

I think Putin will start looking for a way out without losing face. Theres a lot going on diplomatically, Zelensky and Putin have agreed to meet, and the Americans are meeting with the Chinese in Rome Also, Putin can't keep throwing hundreds of Russian protesters into jail without the majority of Russian people asking what's going on ? Plus the fact Riussia is taking far heavier losses than expected and hasn't got the momentum they thought they would have. But who knows, he's allways got the option of escalation with the use of WMD's Its all just conjecture. Cheer6 points

Without opening up an entire new argument I don't go in for that argument. Homelessness isn't something that can be cured by throwing money at it. If you took a 100 people of the streets, gave em a job starting Monday morning and 10 G in the bank most, if not all would go awol and work their way back to homelessness. Its a long, frustrating and complicated thing dealing with homeless. I actually think offering this money is a genius stroke as everytime a Labour politition or do gooder starts saying that Britain isn't doing enough then all anyone has to say is 'have you claimed your money5 points

We'll just settle for being polar opposites then mate.....i admire and appreciate the technical aspect of boxing that you call dancing.....and i detest the fact that boxing nobodies can enter the sport and gain interest through nothing more than a Youtube account. .....each to their own.5 points

Just heard on the radio the government is giving out £350 a month to anyone who takes on a Ukrainian family under there roof although I don’t agree with any war an I think it’s a shame I think it’s insulting to the British people that our government want to offer 350 of our own tax money to house them on the cheap if our government want no involvement in this war why are we arming them an offering to housing them …..our country is on its ass as it is we can’t look after our own people an get our own affairs in order an we’re taxed to the hills no British single person could get all in digs f5 points

The war is a very nice distraction for fuel prices going skyward. They were doing this already way before the war started, you can’t shut economy’s down and then pump free money into them on the scale the government (and many other governments) did with out consequences. Our energy policy has also hugely let us down bowing to woke eco loons and stop North Sea oil and gas drilling meaning we are hugely reliant on overseas for gas and oil. The whole thing is an enormous f**k up in government policy and they are now able to conveniently blame the war for all their f**k ups and who suffers? Us lot4 points

Went for a walk with the wife and son yesterday. Had to take a photo of this kingfisher bobbing up an down on the Calder bank. Was lovely to see but horrible at the same time due to the litter washed up the banks. Just at the side of the kingfisher was an hole where I think he's on with digging out for a nest site.3 points

Great shooting. I do this if I have a vixen in the trap at certain times of the year. Once she’s been sorted out I leave her on top of the reset trap…nearly always get a dog fox in walking around the trap. Either wait it out and shoot him or he’ll go in the trap eventually ??3 points

I agree. The NATO doctrine of an expected Russian armoured blitzkrieg through Ukraine, Poland and Germany is now dead in the water ! The Russians performance in Ukraine shows that NATO air power and off shore cruise missiles would quickly halt any Russian armoured advance. Cheers.3 points

I sent a sd card to Rob of best fox call and asked if he could down load the 3x fox bark call , for the gc500 , went out this evening to give it a go , first was the vixen , top of photo , at about 150 y I let the carcass lay where it was because I have learnt over the years most times another fox will follow the scent of the other one , well it worked tonight after 10 minutes the dog fox came in and just sat next to the vixen , number 2 down2 points

Tbh mate I can't see Ukraine agreeing to giving up a square inch, even in the face of annihilation. If it goes that way I think it'll essentially be decided by Russia and unofficially accepted by the international community until it is just part of history. The problem I see with just giving up those eastern contested regions is that they do not give Russia the 'buffer' they want between them and NATO. Even if Ukraine agreed to give those up, they would never agree to not entering NATO or at least essentially being massively armed by NATO as a security guarantee against future invasion, a2 points

Ah, fair. I thought I was being innovative! See how long they can hold Kyiv, that'll be a key objective in deciding what is the end game. Either way, whatever is left of Ukrainian sovereignty, if anything, will be armed to f**k by the international community. If it's not a NATO member then it'll be a de facto NATO force.2 points

I remember the Yugoslavian refugees that came to Rotherham and loads of static caravans' were put up to house them and council worker's were asked if they wanted to help them and getting paid for it . It was only short term as it turned out and the refugees who came did not cause any problem's i would have thought that would have been a better solution than to offer folk 350 a month to house one.2 points

Good going lads. Mine was not as exciting. I never saw the one from yesterday morning after waiting from early dark thirty to 8:30am. So afternoon I went so.e where else and called foxes but got busted again! I moved off and took a 100yd rabbit rested shot. Using 20gn cci fmj today aswell. The pheasants were telling me a tale along a bracken hill side with scrub birch on it so I decided to meander my way along it. Sure enough I spotted one moving about 80yds away and above me. Off hand I took aim. Made a noise to stop him and shot. It turned and ran back but jus2 points
