  5. It does seem mighty coincidental that directly after Covid where they conjured trillions out of their arse and fuel was a €1 a litre and at a time when people were having a hard look at their own politicians that they suddenly go and find a war that nobody needed to have from what I can see of it. Its a bit tin foil hat I grant you but I wouldn’t put much past these people.

  15. I'm not sure I'd say the demands are "fair" (I mean annexing territory just isn't the done thing these days is it?) but I'd say they're a price worth paying to end the war I can see where kanny is coming from above though, Ukraine need some kind of defensive guarantee against further Russian aggression and I'm not sure what that looks like without them joining NATO/EU

  16. In my eyes, he's a danger - if he can, he'll make the conflict a much larger concern by dragging neighbouring countries in.

  17. I think that would be a bad move - to put British pilots in British planes on active duty over that airspace would probably drag us into a proper war with Russia the second they first engage and, likely other NATO countries. I wouldn't put it past Putin to send a barage of missiles straight at one of our carriers. Zelensky knows it would be a mess but, his back is to the wall right now anyway so, I don't think he's too worried about dragging others into it. The best thing for us is probably to just let it play out.

  36. It's a different lifestyle, for sure. Slower, and so much closer to nature. We see otters, grass snakes, all manner of water fowl, foxes and muntjac pass by the boat when we're moored up without even giving us a glance. When the dogs are inside, that is.

  38. I like to think people just don’t have time to think stuff through mate, that’s not their fault, they are busy just trying to keep the head above water. Theres lack of time, apathy, defeatism (which hands up, I am a victim of myself) ……… However it’s hard not to think badly of people when you see that “Sleeper” in Birmingham getting elected or people running to support politicians who have spent the last 70 years actively trying to erase them from their own history and own lands. It seems to me that with older people there is a resistance to admit “they got f****d”, we all

  40. I think the tin foil hats are far better suited to those in favour of War and those who actually believe our own mainstream narrative of 'Putin bad.' We've been over these bridges plenty of times where looking back over most Western intervention (invasion) we see the military industrial complex working away constantly and now with publicly accepted terms such as 'Globalism' and 'New world order' who cannot see the 'stepping stones' put into place to realise these goals in the future. It's not by accident we're here?

  47. Dropped on this spot again tonight and managed to bag this big dog fox. Came in nicely. After I’d shot him, I had the thermal spotter on the far hill and there was another fox watching. It didn’t hang around long though.

  48. Exactly that lads, but we do a farm 20 mile north of here and the farmer is at his witts end with rabbits. No deer and only the odd hare on there. Same with the hawks here, as a kid never saw a buzzard or red kite, now more than people. Hares everywhere same as muntjac and Roe. Andover swamped in Fallow and you'll see massive (50+) herds
