  3. I’ve had a fox around one of the pens . It would just feed itself and not cause too much chaos the odd puff of feathers here and there, was all that gave it away . However I bumped into one of the local dog walkers who is always out early before he goes to work and he confirmed my suspicions by saying he saw a fox taking a poult on the path in front of him in the morning. I didn’t want to shoot too close to the pen as I didn’t want to disturb the birds roosting. So I set my caller up on the stubble about 100 meters from where the fox was seen taking the bird . 8. Feed loads of tripe but who would want to “muscle up” a hard working running dog ? Lean and fit is how you want em not massive muscles building an oxygen debt.

  10. My view is personally wouldn't want a video camera floating about all weekend, it's a friendly get together, friends and families, banter and beers, I think you've done a good job, the rest is for folks who attend imho. Thought the drone footage was superb ?

  21. In my opinion kaychum is right. Nustock is made in my local area from an old redneck recipe skin cure all.My granny would mix Sulphur and Vaseline to cure the local strays. Most old hound men here keep a 50 gallon barrel full of burnt motor oil and Sulphur. They baptize the hounds once a month .It will cure what ailes you lol. I would recommend the nustock as it also has pine oil and is mixed perfectly. But if you find yourself short handed mix a bonding agent like petroleum jelly with sulfur will still work better than most things for skin care.

  26. Well after a trip to Cumbria & back Myersbg was true to his word & it was a hard choice but the merle made the journey back to North Devon with us, has settled in well & pinched the Terrier's bed. To be honest I would have been happy with any one of the pups, they were in great condition & Myersbg has done a great job rearing them. Thanks again Brian ?

  27. Raw Green Tripe is a great additive to a working dogs diet,...I like to mix it with chicken and beef..? Problem today, is finding a source for whole tripe's... In my area, the Abattoir scene is firmly controlled by the Pet Food Mafia. They get kinda bitchy if ya try to muscle in ..? I suppose there is good money to be earnt in supplying Raw foods for dogs,..so the freebie days are now over..? My jukes are just pets nowadays, so conditioning isn't quite so critical,..but they still deserve good scran.. Go careful now Brothers,...stay safe,..regards, OldPhil.?
