I saw two blind blokes having a fight the other day. You should have seen the look on their faces when I shouted " my money's on the one with a knife! "15 points

Yes give the pup to somebody that doesn’t mind spending a few quid on giving it the best food so it gets the best start in life ……..13 points

Personally,..and I could well be wrong?...I like to have a lurcher pup out with me, at the earliest possible age? A lurchers 'lot in life' is frequently a difficult and hazardous adventure,...some make the cut, whilst others do not... Its a great feeling, to look back and see a young tyke following on as best as he can, clamouring over obstacles, and dragging himself through mud -filled ditches . These early walks out, are critical for a working dog's education.... I always try to introduce one new experience on every occasion, ..it is imperative to try and create a working11 points

I can’t do with learning a pup and breaking to stock at at about ten months or older the teenage age, it’s too hard work when their at that head strong age.9 points

Had a sit out at dusk overlooking the fresh cut 20 acre barley field . There were Fallow already out when I turned up at 9.20 pm . Then I witnessed the first bit of the Roe rut with a nice buck chasing a doe . I saw a muntjac and a badger but no foxes . At 10.15 I turned the caller on , rabbit distress. I gave it 15 minutes then changed it to fox cub chatter , then at 10.45 Adam spotted Charlie to my left , I was stood on the back of the mule using the roof to shoot off because they haven’t finished baling yet and there are still rows of straw , so a more elevated shooting position was called5 points

With all this hot weather I decided to treat myself to one of those lazy spa things to lounge about in keeping cool. I was sat in it the other day with the bubbles going having a nice cold Henry westons cider when something caught the corner of my eye. A fukcing rat running back and fore to my chicken feeder helping himself to the food. 5 minuets later I’m sat back in my jacuzzi thing bollocks naked with my cider shooting rats … fukcing heaven ?4 points

Your right about some people sleeping like babies I’ve seen blokes asleep snoring their heads off on ballast and troughing lids. I’m 57 I’ve got 34 months before my 60th Birthday I’m retiring taking my money and starting a new chapter of life God willing….4 points

God knows, but when they are rotting away in prison they could at least be of use if not an ornament. I'm talking vaccine trials, groundbreaking operations, experiments, the job lot.4 points

The beach is the safest place at this time of year. Dogs can swim freely and use their limbs and muscles, without the risk, of strains or damage.? We are lucky here on Hi De Hi Island, so we hit the surf at every opportunity. Stay safe Brothers, all the best, Old Phil.?4 points

75% of the time I have someone with me for 3 reasons, firstly, if I’m covering a lot of ground, it’s another pair of eyes, second, it’s someone to carry things and retrieve shot stuff and thirdly, ( this just applies to the lad who comes to the shoot with me ) I can’t fart without him wanting a sniff and if I go without him his toys come out the pram when my sheep farmer mate used to come with me I’d ring him every time I was going out, before tech, when it was just lamps and mouth calls, he could call a fox using anything from his hand to a blade of grass and wasn’t interested in shooti4 points

As katchum said I let my pup tell me when it’s had enough … I go out all day with my pups however that includes sitting under a shady tree for an hour whilst the pup has a sleep and just mooching around some bushes for an hour.3 points

Watched the women’s triathlon last night where Britain’s Georgie Taylor brown had a puncture on her bike in the last lap and fell way off the leading pack to come back on the run to get a silver. Pure guts and determination from her and would have more than likely been a gold without the puncture.3 points

I used to get all my dog meat from a local game dealer, it was very cheap, about 20p per pound, it included everything from steak to pork, offal, chicken carcasses, game, etc. Sadly he retired and closed down. Now I get mince chicken, minced green tripe, minced salmom, rabbit, etc, from a local tripe dealer, 60p per pound, still cheap in my opinion. As has been said, you can pick up trays of mince, chicken, etc from the "reduced " shelves of the supermarkets. A kilo bag of chicken wings for £1:80, three kilo of chicken thighs for under a fiver. If your budget doesn't stretc3 points

We were against a strong tide run all night mate, we are fishing a bottle knecked estuary as it hits the sea. Its hard work to keep going against it to set the next drift, you try and cut across the tide as much as you can. The kayak I use is long and pretty streamlined and you can push through the tide pretty well tbf.3 points

These two faggots aren’t even on the league table. Bird doesn’t log in unless he has an ailment to share. mushroom has started threads about falling off his rollerblades and getting a scabbed knee. and any time I work whippets posts I can’t get the image of some piss stained year old habitual masterbater sitting in a room covered in excrement surrounded by belongings he’s begged borrowed or stole. fecking poor show tbh3 points
