  1. Mine cleans the boat walks the dogs, cooks me a good meal for when I get home does a bit of decorating and looks after the grandkids 2 days a week and has just volunteered at the local hedgehog sanctuary to feed and water the hogs for a few hours in the evening, hasn’t worked since my first was born 35 years ago which is why the kids are all well grounded balanced individuals that have all done far better for themselves in life than me or her were ever given the opportunity to aspire to ???

  6. Not sure how far back lads want to go when talking about prices for jukels? I can only talk of the 60's through to the 80's and 90's ,...after that, I went legit, and things changed...? My crew was never competitive, so we did not require a world beater ,..we just wanted plenty of game to sell... Most dogs back then were £45 tops and Gypsy longdogs were the best buy for us,,...we did not look after them,..we knew no better...? Mind you, I do remember Fred Smith bringing FlyBye down from the North and his dad coughing up £100 for the animal.. Old Flash (FlyBye) was a Bi

  7. No offence intended, mC , and I walked some hours and distance when I was a lot younger, but I tend to put the "30-40 mile walks" in the same category as the "9 minute courses" and the "200 yard lamping slips" ! Might seem like it at the time, but in retrospect , they weren't quite that ! ??! Cheers.

  8. A 30 mile walk would be impossible in much of Southern England....back in the day,..it was always, 'light on, light off'...anything else would get you in a fight or in the jail....Freelancing is a dangerous game, and folk that think it is all fun and games, need to give their heads a shake....?

  9. les robinsons, early bedlingtonxs, definetlly carried willhay blood in them andwere good stock, the last dog i got from les in the 90s, carried stag night blood in him, made an excellent ferreting, lamping, and gun dog, sadly lost the blood line of that dog, not heard much of les for years now, but him and his missus were decent people to deal with, the bedlington blood was always rillington, he was a great friend of george newcombe, never had any thing to do with carl williams dogs , but hewas from my era, always had ads for his stud dogs and pups,in the old shooting news, really enjoy this th

  11. There are only 3 degrees in craft masonry. English masons don't 'collect' degrees and count them up like the mad yanks do. As katchum said, I don't know the in's and out's of the Jewish /Arab situation. I'm only speaking about impressions we have of the situation because most of us don't follow it at all and don't give much of a fck about it all. I've read bits and pieces about the crusades, an interesting subject, and ownership of certain blood soaked bits of land have been fought over for more than centuries. Like Ireland and even America....talk of ownership will ultimately get

  12. I said something similar, about people moaning about paying decent money for pups, a couple of years ago. Those same people think nothing about spending over a grand for an air rifle, sometimes 2 or 3 times a year, or upwards of 3-4 grand for a shotgun, but whinge like fcuk about paying for a nicely bred pup that will last them 10 years in the field!! Madness.

  13. Never heard of the guy or his breed, but nowt wrong with grews ! They'll take a hare or roe, exciting to watch , but break a lot easier than a purpose bred lurcher. Usually lack stamina , but fine if you want a quick course, on and off the field before it comes on top. Cheers.

  15. I ain't getting into an argument about masonry. I'm a master Mason. I go because I enjoy the food, self development and charity work. On another note....only just watched the news....fckin hell the yids are smashing buildings left right and center! I remember some spitting image sketch where the Israelis where throwing petrol on a fire while trying to put it out ?. They certainly know how to fight back don't they! Not a good situation and may whatever God anybody believes in help protect those little kids that seem to bear the brunt of war anywhere.

  17. the staminar thing depends on what your running....if you want a dog that can put 5 mins in on a hare then forget anything that aint coursing bred.....if you want something exciting for 2 mins....then a grew will do it ... and theres no reason they couldnt knock 30 rabbits over on the lamp twice a week.... but staminar is subjective...to what you as the owner want out of a dog..

Operation Entebbe - Wikipedia EN.M.WIKIPEDIA.ORG 1973 Israeli raid on Lebanon - Wikipedia EN.M.WIKIPEDIA.ORG Operation spring of youth was an absolute destruction of their enemies . Why didnt judas just go home after ww2? warsaw and other places, the Palestinians have paid the ultimate price for doing nothing wrong, thats never right.

  33. couldnt agree more. Worry about quality first and cost next. Always seems to be enough money for guns, fashionable hunting boots and beer etc but want a lurcher for next to nothing.

  34. I don’t really care to get involved in the Arab/Jew hating shit but to say that Israel are only capable of killing civies is a bit ignorant of history. IIRC the first Israel Lebanon war was the most significant air war of the modern jet fighter era and was such a decisive Israeli victory the soviets had to send a team to investigate why their kit was so utterly dominated by western kit. There’s heaps of examples of Israel hitting regional military peers.

  38. I've seen a puma up close when I was camping, bow hunting about 30 years ago in the mountains not far from Sydney. I was cooking some chops on dusk on a camp fire when I saw a tawny animal pacing behind the fire, thinking it was a dingo I picked up a big branch to chase it off, As I got close it ran at me and I realized it was a big cat, I think it was trying to scare me from the food rather than attack. I went and got in the truck and it went back into the bush. I've seen a lot of pics of " panthers" which are just really big ferals, usually black. I'm always open minded now about sightings b

  43. I can only go by personal experience, and the grews I've seen would give a few exceptional runs on hares, but tire far quicker than a purpose bred lurcher. These dogs were exceptionally fit, but bred and trained for the track. Im no expert, and others, like yourself, will have different views and experience which I fully understand and respect ? Cheers.

I’m on the fence with this mate......take mink for example.....apparently a lot of them around but how may times have YOU seen them dead on the road....in the grand scheme of things I don’t see that many dead foxes as a result of rta .....if there is a small population just maybe.......just maybe.....

  46. And how much time do you have on your hands? I could use a few, good, men Pushing three and a half ton pages of bullshit and counter bollocks? What I'd like to do, see, is comb through this entire fukking torrent of mental vomit. Surgically slicing out each 'argument'. " Why No Bodies? " Then, search out and Record each answer. That done? I'd fukk off and make a web site where all this shit could be put. In a simple and orderly format Point is, it would save anyone A/ Asking the same questions that were asked fifty pages back. B/ Anyone having to repeatedly answer
