  5. OH, JEESUSS FUKKING CHRIST!!! WHY DIDN'T THEY WARN ME!!! Three more of these lovely, Leifheit, German made storage jars arrived, today 'Smokey Grey', as opposed to plain, clear glass. One litre, so they hold a fair old whack of most things I have in my ever expanding armoury. I was pleased they'd come too. Because I was eager to put my bag of dried chilli's in one. (Can you see where this is going?!) So, I'm standing there, at the kitchen counter top. I open my new jar. Get the scissors and slice along the top of the bag. Last thing I really fukking remember

Not exactly what I envisaged my life would end up like in sheltered housing but its a lovely homely place I like to think I can get along with most people so I'm not grumbling where I live I'm lucky to even see a human being let alone converse with one it's an awful thing is loneliness and I aim to put a stop to it

  10. If it’s one of these types the pin inside breaks it’s plastic holder and the trigger just stays back, if you take the side cover off and drill a hole through were the pin goes then put a nut and bolt right through, you can give it a bit more welly and save an otherwise useless clamp, I,ve broke a few with my passion hands , ?

  11. No, I hear you mate ? Don’t forget, there’s a value in just being able to sit back and let them pack, shift and move your kit properly. All insured, you don’t have to lift a finger which is handy especially if you have health problems. All you have to worry about is yourself and a kettle. Man with a van is alright, but it’s normally some chancer, packing your kit like he is off to the tip, picking up 6 other jobs on the way, alone, Eastern European or some shit. Proper people do a proper job and that is very important in something as stressful as moving......I think yo

  14. As the others have expressed, the scissor mole trap isnt the first choice, for most mole catchers, nowadays (with its two different spring types, that perhaps could be manufactured, stronger ?). But, at one time it was them & the half barrel type, mainly, only at your disposal. Ok, there was the Fenn loop type for a while, & the smaller Fenn scissor, too. Now, the fenn loop type, a dont rate highly,...shame really would have liked it to have been better,..compact little trap, that it is too. More powerful spring maybe, for starters. That new trigger modification (since they brung the t

  30. And it lasted 7years? I live a couple of minutes from a german Shepherd breeder who was head of the Met police dog department and is still held in very high regard in German Shepherd circles. He said that the Czech line shepherds were too much even for the police when they tried them as they were wired more like a Mali which they also tried and gave up on.Seen so many lads get these super hypo working bred lines as guards or even security dogs for work and end up with massive problems as they just cant give them the constant stimulation they need. Its all very well watching YouTube vids of these
