A momentarily displaced snowflake student at the nearby university told the bbc: Having to move around had been " inconvenient ". Patently never once stopping to reflect on how 'inconvenient' their great grandparents generation must have found it, having Seven Thousand fukking bombs dropped on them, back in 1942. No. You see, you whining little gender fluid, lefty libtard kunt; That sort of shit was fukking 'Inconvenient'.6 points

ive had 2 from there 80s early 90s you make some good points. Also due to the scale of a breeding kennels time involved feeding /cleaning etc the pups wont have the socialisation a home bred litter would. Then as you say it was up to the new owner to understand this have patience and put the work in.My opinion on how a lurcher turns out is do your best and hope for the best. You cant put in what nature left out.5 points

As said mate, I really do think it's 90% down to the owner how any lurcher turns out. Most lurchers are fairly sensitive as pups, and if the owner is an overbearing nerk, that shouts at his pup for the slightest thing, or gives it a slap for doing what most pups generally do, but he's too stupid/ignorant to realise it's just a pup thing, then the pup will turn out nervy, jittery and less obedient Give the same pup to a caring, knowledgeable owner, that pup would very likely turn out very useful. Not saying the 2 nervous wrecks you saw were owned by nerks lol, but without knowing t5 points

Bored with lockdown, so took my smk prw900 .177 and give it a lift. Off with the fake mod/barrel weight ,recrown and fit a barrel band. Add a 12mm /1/2 unf adapter. Ordered a new mod from Mr Blades from airgunforum and a easy use 9 shot mag from evil Bay. Fitted my Hawke 3_9x50 and zeroed on old Christmas cards as u do. Mod arrived today so the me assembled (no avengers available ??) Here she be in .1773 points

Moonlight ferreting for rabbits with ella . This is one of my favourite methods of catching rabbits. We were using longnets to surround the Warrens instead of using purse nets. I took Big rich my albino hob. We had a bell on the ferrets collar too, so if we couldnt see him we could atleast hear him leaving the warren. We ferreted a handful of Warren's and caught 9 rabbits. Bud caught a few when moving between Warren's. We had one 1ft dig and a couple rabbits in the nets. The pictures are stills from the footage using an Infra red filter. Video coming soon on my youtube channel.3 points

Keep the tunnels the proper dimentions to suit the trap. This is important, and to not take this into account, may result in foul catches, and/or misses.3 points

Yeah same thing is happening over here with deer increasing in population all the time, there popping up and causing problems when your ferreting or just trying to do a bit of rabbiting. Pain in the arse for a lot of lads3 points

Spot on. Seen/know several dogs from hancocks, that have made superb workers, taking allsorts, up and down the country. Common denominator; all owned by people that know dogs/lurchers. Giving them time to develope, and a bit of patience, and NOT trying to get their dogs catching all and sundry by the time it's 18 months old. It really can be that simple.3 points

Nice to have 2 short eared owls return to local sight again this year, only seen at distance and sadly no photo opportunities so here’s one from 3 year ago...3 points

Ace.. you’ll love it Ben treat yourself to a nice padded sling cos you’ll need it? I did 3 1/2 miles on last outing with mine according to me phone... one benefit of the weight is that it’s mega stable on quad sticks when the winds up? Only problem you’ll have at the moment is finding cover to get rid of the quarry cos with you pard on top anything within 300yard is fecked.2 points

I agree with you mate. But I've been to see loads of litters over the years, for myself, with friends, with family. Some of the places had to be seen to be believed as to how shockingly bad, dirty, shitty, and scruffy the places were, with the bitch and pups cowering and covered in filth, terriers and lurcher litters. Been to hancocks a couple of times, most recently about 6 years ago, and when I was there, there were a few dogs out and about the place, friendly, coming up to me and my son to be fussed, every litter of pups we looked at, were all friendly, approachable and enquisitive. Maybe shaaark i have heard both positive and negative regarding beardy crosses temperaments. My own experience is owning a 1st cross from Remus and the dogs temperament was bombproof real easy to live with.2 points

Mag is a straight replace 9 shot in .177 ,he does a 14 shot as well. And the same is available in .22 for them that needs. Yes Mark its a little cracker ,I put my targets on 3mm drywipe board and it goes through happily. Can't wait to "introduce it" down on my perm when lockdown lifts . Its so quiet I think the bunnies are in for a shock atb2 points

It’s 3.30am in Spain , my ex friends from wales have just rung me for the forth time ? social distancing would seem to have gone down the shitter over there ..?A drunken three man choir slurring the welsh anthem down a phone a thousand miles away leaves much room for improvement .I’ll give them a ring around 8am ( 7am there) just to check they are ok , ? and again every half hour .. They are extremely happy though ...?2 points

There's good and bad in all dogs same as terriers. I know a lot of people hate on Hancock I never knew the man or see he's kennels but in my eyes you get what you put in 90% of lurchers are bred off failed greyhounds unless your the other 10% and get something that got injured or old, and owners can't be dealing with breeding pups, and sheepdogs are herding dogs and we don't breed lurchers for herding simply for stamina and better bone for all terrain running, or if you want out and out fox dog you would go bull or Wheaton, there just a bit to clever for me after a while I think if they think2 points
