  1. 'by appointment of liquidator' Proper gone bust then hasn't it. Now I've been a keeper, am friends with many keepers and spend my life defending all countrysports... ....but....it ain't a bad thing if the shooting world gets its wings clipped over the next few years. Hopefully they will realise what sport and countryside are really about and may start working with other countrysports.... ....i can but dream....

  4. I’ve walked for a few days now without the catty due to a shoulder injury but this morning I decided to take it and only shoot when there was a ni on guaranteed kill ( less shots- less pain). Anyhow I managed two squirrels for 3 shots using the scout Lt .8 gzk and 11mm steel.

  5. As a kid out with mates and bsa meteors and Wembley hawks we shot a squirrel which ran up a tree and disappeared in a big hole so a mate says I,ll go up and get it with similar results but he fell from the top of the tree with the squirrel attached to his head ?

  9. If it came out of Plummer’s mouth , it’s a lie. if he was alive today he’d be banned from keeping dogs , and this site would be laughing at the pillock. his animal husbandry was appalling . there aren’t many people I dislike but that man lied , lied , copied and lied again . just my opinion T

  10. black and tan bitch out the same litter as the pup with rabbit post. White and black one had its first rabbit the other day in cover. Not bad for 2 days over 6 month. They're coming on a treat. Very pleased with both. Sam

  16. And that is why most folk don't like the plummer terrier.....But as a fella who mooched with lurchers, ferreted both rats and rabbits, ratted a lot and for a few digs a season the one i had i have never seen a terrier come even close to the one i had.A one trick pony was no good for me and i could take her anywhere in and around any stock without any fear of accidents happening, she was everything i wanted and i miss her deeply both as a working terrier and as my best pal..

Sandstones around to 110 per morning sq depending on area.but that's dig out, grab away, lay terrace, type 1,sand,sharp sand, cement, glues, slabs and proper pointing with resin or cement all pointed up smooth not brushed in finish.big difference in moneys and looks if done shit.throwing a few slabs down on sand and brushing in kiln dried is a bodge up.

Nearly had the dream once it was about 6months in sight id split up with me bird at the time lived in me motor for a bit saved up like mad then went back to mum an dads as they got a bit worried about me id gone a bit awol the plan was get a boat live the dream instead got with me bird lost track of time settled down had a few kids gotta wait till they’ve all left home an there standing on there own 2feet then the dream will happen. Don’t know what it is about canal boats that does it for me but I like the fact you can just up an move about with nice views with a relatively cheap way of living

  36. I'm trying to think what else I want to do but struggling a bit, which is good I guess. More than anything I want to just do a lot more of what I've already experienced. But I'd like to add ptarmigan. They live in tough country and you earn your feed with those. Red grouse over pointers would be worthwhile too. Perhaps boar too, but I'm not exactly rivetted by the thought of splatting one over feed out of a seat...
