I'll agree with you there, there is a massive problem in the cities on the mainland, hence why I really only go mainlanding when I need stuff I canny get sent. The other hand, we don't have a door key, car keys are left in the cars, in case anyone wants to borrow them, wife left her purse on the car roof and was still there in the morning! Scotland is a big place, living here (Eilean Siar) is like going back in time 50 years. I have the Atlantic out my front door, river down the hill, moorland, grassland and peat at the back, all I have is fresh meat and fish and fuel for free. We've6 points

England has some of the most beautiful villages and landscape in the world, it’s just either over populated or the life has been ripped out because of second homes. I drove through Kent the other day, a place very familiar from my childhood, and it has some of the most picturesque chocolate box villages and hamlets you will ever see......except there were fecking cars and litter and filth everywhere and the air was stinking. My old man had a small holding not far from Sandwhich when I was a kid, we used to go to the cattle market and the mill and all that, smell of hops in the air et5 points

Last night was a disaster! I missed two fox's! One a rested 100yds and one off hand at 70ish. I know I raved about these 50 GRN wmr by federal but with what looks like a CCI bullet when I first got them but just recently I noticed some velocity fluctuations. So I went to the old marl pit which is about 100yds wide and did some testing, it revealed a few things. First, the 50grn loads by federal contain low performing rounds, so much so a couple per ten can be low by 6" ! I shot the rest off and sure enough I decided I am best rid of them. I tested the hornady vmax and4 points

The world has changed, lib dem, tory, labour whatever doesn't mean much anymore. The western world is now divided between those who want big government and open borders in tandem with global corporations involved in everything and nationalists that want to keep nation states and small government fulfilling traditional roles like defence of the realm and infrastructure. There are certainly big money rewards to be had after government for individuals such as Sir Oliver Robbins the civil servant who led the effort to make sure the last government did not leave the eu has just started his new4 points

If Fury cant get opponents like that out of there when in a desperate situation he has problems, personally i think he is tailor made for Joshua who is an elite finisher pushing forward under very little offensive threat.....Fury has never beaten a worthwhile opponent other than a razor thin decision over a poor Klitchko in a dreadful fight.....he obviously has the ability to shut out fighters but seems to get flustered by low threat low level opponents.... Fury got embarrassed last night by a feather fisted C level fighter with no experience and no stamina.......his only real chance against a4 points

That's about as daft as going on a pub crawl with a bloke who is banned from all the pubs for fighting.? Counter productive. Most greyhounds have plenty of fire in the belly. You don't want it coming out in aggression to other dogs.3 points

I don't rely think it maters, all game can be caught easily on some ground and be imposable on different ground, just to me up there they were easy so I only caught 1 or2 and then just walked my dogs the rest of the day, be good for pups, but not for proper dogs, jmho.3 points

Yes I have to admit it gives me ‘an enormous sense of well being” driving up to Dartmoor at first light walking round watching rabbits disappear time and time again ,driving back and feeding the dog the best raw grub money can buy and nothing to show for it apart from firm dog turds, what’s not to like?3 points

They were haemorrhaging votes to UKIP. Camemoron and the others never in a million years expected the vote to go against them. Why do so many politicians want to remain? Simple. The UK and all other countries are obliged to accept without question any laws imposed by the EU. That means the MPs can avoid any blame for unpopular laws and tax hikes. The new more stringent MOT? EU law. Wind Turbines? EU green energy targets that have to be met. Too many migrants? EU impose quotas on every country. That is why the UK has so many MPs willing to remain shackled to the EU.3 points

You came on saying you had dogs for a short time and after a 40 year break you'd got a collie grey pup. A little while later you said you had a working sal whip grey and now your planning a breeding program based on a dogs you don't know the basics about. Maybe folk smell something....2 points

No lining how ever the stud is bred is guaranteed to produce whether that's lurchers or terriers or any working dog for that matter not every good dog can produce and most don't reproduce as good as themselves2 points

According to Boxrec Charles Martin is rated 19 and Joshua dispatched him quickly and easily. According to the same Boxrec your man Wallin is rated 45 and last night Fury went " life and death " with him....to coin a Fury fan phrase.2 points

Two reasons; Because they can see what the EU is. Not everybody is happy with being subservient to EU policy making. Some still believe that the UK should be self-governing and make its own laws, not accept laws foisted upon them that can be designed to stimulate economies in Germany, France, etc like the new MOT regulations. And because they can see the writing on the wall and if the Tories don't deliver Brexit then the Conservative Party will be wiped out at the next election and they will have to get a proper job.2 points

Moochers is a very good Forum IN SEASON , it will spark up now the weather is coming good , most on there are proper dog men who respect the seasons so really they don't have much to post about in the Summer but during the accepted season there will be plenty of good reports on Ferreting / Lamping and many other topics that most members of the THL will know nothing about , as for being a member the rules are very strict and you have to pass a written Exam with a time limit , a sample question could be How many Ears does a Bunny Rabbit have or do Fish Sweat ? sadly Many will Try but only2 points

Those with there noses in the trough who care more about themselves than the people who put them there are the reason for the deadlock Neil kinnock was allegedly against the eu project until himself, wife, son and daughter in law were all put on the payroll and now for doing exactly nothing apart from putting there foreign travel down as expenses they are earning over half a mil per year between them with an unaccountable expenses account incase that’s not enough to buy there loyalty’s and those people like sandy queer who are supporting this project are actively encouraging the people that ar2 points

The ones keeping up the fight Kinnock , Blair , Mandelson eat ect ect are all on the EU pay roll , if your on the pay roll and so much as dream of criticising the EU your money is stopped immediately and that’s common knowledge so basically the treacherous b*****ds I’ve named are leading the fight to protect their own interest and fukc Democracy . . I hope in the GE those who have failed the will of the people live to regret it !!2 points

There are some rare moments in life that really stay with you. I have been blessed with a family and have honestly been waiting to take my boy fishing since before he was born. The other day we went out and I recorded what has to be my favourite on screen moment ever. So so proud. I hope you enjoy the video.2 points
