  1. This year at Easter my wife and I rented a large holiday home so that all the kids and grandkids could spend a week together. There were 9 adults 5 kids and 2 dogs . Online the place looked fantastic, snooker room , bar , large dining room , different living rooms , on suite bedrooms. On arrival however the owner told us that the soil pipe was blocked and only one bathroom was in use . And being Easter the earliest it could be fixed was Tuesday after the bank holiday. He said “there you have it , are you staying or not?” We said that seeing as we have all traveled from all over the country and

  7. When the judge said how much do you want for travelling expenses I said well I put £60 worth of diesel in this morning and I should be able to get back on that . He said we pay 45 pence per mile you traveled 200 miles here so that’s a 400 mile round trip so that’s £180 . I looked at the owner as his head went down and thought “ I wouldn’t mind doing this every week”!!!???

  9. Well after meeting up with a fellow member on here that I now class as a good friend, whom invited me out on a shooting mission, I invited him to join me & bigmac out on one of my permissions tonight, weather conditions were not great & there had been a hunt over the land today, but we met up at mine @. 8pm, into the new shooting vehicle & away we went, not a great deal about, but we managed a few, some for the butcher & some for dog food , a good bit banter with good friends & also a change for my guest, who although we didn’t get much enjoyed the change & is welcome b

  10. Me, my brother and the old man have been itching to get on some new permission we've managed to grab. We've got a young brindle deer hound, greyhound x collie grey hound who was yet to catch. And our bull grey hound x collie grey hound bitch. After seeing the old bitch catch on her first run that fired up the young dog and he broke his duck. 2 in 2 runs and retrieved straight back. Cracking little walk out and to say the old man was chuffed is an understatement.

  20. I`ve only just started to boil down surplus pigeon breasts/ rabbit, mixed with a little veg, pasta for my GSP. I get a token payment of 30p per pigeon from a local bird of prey centre but when you take into account the price of dog food i`m getting at least 60p- 90p per bird, saved, by making good dog food. By the reactions of Kaiser at feed time, he knows the home made food is being served compared to the commercial stuff in a can. He is thriving on the shot game and absolutely no weight gain or loss. atb

  30. I have a coat and over trousers made by mad dog, don't no what the cost of it was new, but it keeps me warm in extremely cold weather and dry in very wet weather, bit extreme for everyday wearing but for the depths of winter it gets me out when most are stuck in and it's lasted many years with no love or respect shown to it here I am modelling the jacket on a night out with my pet heron

  31. Vince Gironda the iron guru was way ahead of his time. I've done keto diets and it does work but I've had the best consistent results from eating clean and tracking my calories and planning my meals to suit my goals ie cutting or bulking. You must know your maintenance daily calories(there's plenty of calculators on the net for you to work yours out) and then either bulk or cut to + or - 500 calories of your maintenance.I train 3 days a week and walk the dogs between 6 -10 miles a day. I eat clean on the whole but do eat complex carbs but cut out refined sugars. Eat your superfoods oats, eggs,

  32. Took dear old Dusty for her last walk today...? I was gifted this good-hearted pup, from a guy that in reality, I hardly knew. I traveled from my home in Hampshire to a Welsh Valley and collected her... She was a super friendly pup and fitted into our lifestyle, no problem. She served me well, for nine long years, we had some good times, caught vanloads of game and enjoyed plenty of laughs,... I am sad to say goodbye ... Alas, the Big C has no mercy and seems to enjoy inflicting horrendous pain.? I feel privileged to deny this heartless monster it's perverse en
