Mate I was trying to do something about things when you were sat round in your own filth picking f***ing knits out your dreadlocks x13 points

I think you are right there Roybo... I shall always keep my own home-bred, watered down Collie hybrids, they suit me for the ground I hunt over, but most lads coming into the game today seem to want a far more athletic style of running dog...The genuine F1 hybrid twixt a sheepdog and a Greyhound would still suit me, but I feel I am in the minority... Facts are, if such an easily produced hybrid was required, on masse, by the lurcher fraternity,..there would be no shortage of them... The situation speaks for itself really...? Wee Maggie, a pup I sent down to North Devon...11 points

After many a wasted trip to see so called collie x greyhound litters I decided to go to Hancocks for a pup, she is entering her 6 season now, and is a credit to my team, she has supplied us with some great days out in all conditions giving her all, trying warren after Warren until she gets a mark. All you can do is put as much opportunity as possible in front of the dog, the rest is in the lap of the gods. cheers Neil b10 points

Don't know why people on here keep on starting to improve their dogs fitness in the middle of summer. f***ing madness. Within the next couple of weeks it'll be 'I'm biking my dog for 5 miles, free running for 30 minutes and roadwalking 5 miles, start him off steady'. Steady?! f***ing madness!!8 points

Hi, I breed this smaller type of collie lurcher, just for hedgerow ferreting, general mouching, and a wee bit of picking up on the local Shoots. My only quarry is the rabbit, so a dog that is a genuine seeker, marker and good at hunting up in the rough. is all I really need. I still rate, a well made F1 Collie x Greyhound Hybrid, but these wee 'un's suit me fine.?8 points

All I saw was gangs of dicks running around acting the c**t, black, white, Asian they all looked like nobs... f**k me in the first video he hit matey with a bit of 2x4 and the bloke barely flinched, now if he wanted to hurt him with a lump of wood he would’ve, a little dap then run like f**k!! Lol.. if they are Muslim groomers/peados would you go about sorting them out like that in your community? god forbid it ever happens to one of mine, but I’d be more inclined to pay a late night visit to his house and wrap a bit of 2x4 round his head as he opens the door... just a load of twats6 points

I'm not being funny with you, just offering advice fron experience. 3 months is no time at all. If you're intending to keep this dog all it's life you need to be prepared to take time to find the right pup. Even people breeding their own stuff plan and research over months and sometimes years to bring the right dog and bitch together then may wait 6 months or more before the bitch comes on heat, another 2 months before she whelps etc. etc. If you really want good stock, have patience. Collie crosses aren't so popular these days so the working lines aren't bred so often except at Han5 points

Our big cities are f****d.... thank f**k I’m a country bumpkin and only have to travel to them occasionally for work, I honestly feel sorry for the decent lads/ladies who have to put up with that sort of shit, whole communities ruined for ever unfortunately...5 points

Done a hell of alot of forestry hunting last winter. Ran some disgusting places n was fairly lucky very rare id come away empty handed had some cracking catches but running a dog thats even half committed you will get injuries same with any other type of lurcher work.the best dogs ive seen for the forest and plantations where i go where bull cross but seen loads catch here n there.5 points

Over here people use collie/grey to tone down the headbanging attitude of their bull crosses and to improve the daft looking duck feet. You should try it.4 points

They're on the other side of the draw mate... If you could pick a route to the final surely this would be it?? What a great World Cup so far though, no one wouldve predicted this so far.. Germany out bottom of the group Argentina home early and looked shocking around Spain out early England v France final, England win it 3-2 Kane scoring with the last kick of the game to win the golden boot, loads of frogs crying in the stands and on the pitch...If Carlsberg done World Cups!! All though i have had some great shots with the FX Impact .25 FAC on rabbits , crows , pigeons , squirrels and targets , at 120 yards grouping with 16 pellets ,which is one mag came in at 26 mm . But i seem to go back to sub 12 , just cant give it up . Sub 12 is so much quieter and on some permissions i would not use FAC air , not only that its where it all began for me from the age of 13 some 45 years ago shooting a BSA meteor .22 and still have that gun today . Any how waited for darkness last night ,which seems to take ages with clear skies and very bright moon and that was abou3 points

There seems to be more lurchers about now, that still have their dewclaws left on,. and even working them on all sorts of terrain, don't seem tohave any problem with them. I have owned 2 lurchers wth dew claws on and never had any problems when running them, I found that if clipped just like toe nails, they caused no hassle.3 points

Thanks for that, it makes perfect sense, on the odd occasion I get to go hare shooting I use a 35g 5’s and when you hit them you stop them, this was the last young one I shot with the shotgun using a mini mag and although it’s only small it did run on a bit3 points
